What a way to kick off the 2026–27 ringette season! 💙
Our Welcome Back BBQ was all about bringing our ringette community together — and we loved seeing so many players, families, friends and community members stop by to celebrate with us!
A few special moments from the day:
✨ Two of our U12 teams had the incredible opportunity to spend time with the National Ringette League NRL teams during warm-up and join them on the ice for O Canada. What an experience for our young athletes!
🔥A huge THANK YOU to the Edmonton WAM Edmonton WAM! Edmonton Rush Edmonton Black Gold Rush for bringing the very best of ringette to Leduc and giving our athletes the opportunity to experience NRL hockey up close. We were thrilled to have you in our community!
🙌 A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped make the day happen. Events like this don’t happen without people willing to pitch in and help.
🌭 A special shoutout to the Leduc Lions Leduc Lions Club for helping us with the BBQ and keeping everyone fed!
👋 Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, grabbed a bite, watched the game and took the time to learn a little more about ringette.
And a special thank you to the City of Leduc officials, including the Mayor and Councillors, who joined us to learn more about ringette and the positive impact our sport has on the communities of Leduc and Beaumont.
We are proud to showcase this amazing sport and, most of all, the hard work, dedication and pride our athletes bring to the ice every time they play. Days like this are a great reminder of what makes ringette — and our ringette community — so special.
Thank you for helping us kick off the season together!
Now… let’s get this season started!
