Well, that’s a wrap for the 2026 Northwest Sprint Tour season. We had our ups and downs, but in this series, you get humbled fast. That being said, we were able to reach our goal of finishing inside the top 10 in the points standings, and we also got to take home rookie of the year honors.
To my pit crew/family: you guys and gals have been a super strong support system all year long, and I wouldn’t want to go on this crazy journey with anyone else. Baylee Wright, Rod Wright, Jason Schmidt, I can’t thank you guys enough for all the time you have put in to make this program progress the way it has this year, and I am thankful for all of you. Thanks to my wife for letting me live out this crazy racing life, never denying any of it, and always having my back.
To our fellow competitors: I have never been a part of a series that is this competitive, but yet everyone would help anyone in the pit without thinking twice. It’s truly an amazing thing to see and even better to be a part of it. To the Yates and Aumen families, you guys helped jumpstart us and gave us a lot of support all year long, and the friendship that came with it is even better.
George Wade, Rob Leighton, and all of the NST staff, thank you for this amazing series. You guys put in a lot of effort to give us a stage all year long to go out and have fun. This series is growing, and we can’t wait to support it for a long time.
Finally, thank you to our sponsors. Being a first-year team, you didn’t really know what to expect. You believed in us, and we couldn’t be more thankful for your support. You’re a huge part of this program.
The NST schedule might be over but we’re not done. We will be heading down to Las Vegas in November for the Open Wheel Showdown. We are excited about this one and have had it circled on the calendar all year long. We will have updates along the way, but for now, we have some downtime. See you in Vegas! 🎰🎰🎰
