Hockey season always seems to arrive faster than expected.

Suddenly the equipment is coming out, schedules are filling up, and hockey is back on the calendar. 🏒

If your player took some time off over the summer, now is a great time to get back into a regular training routine.

Whether they're looking for more skating work, puck touches, shooting practice, or simply some extra reps before the season gets too busy, consistent training can make those first few weeks back a little easier.

Hockey season is officially here… which means there are approximately 47 things every hockey parent needs to remember. 😂

The unofficial hockey parent checklist:

🏒 Equipment that somehow needs constant checking
🏒 Skates that actually fit
🏒 A stick that hasn’t mysteriously disappeared
🏒 Finding the missing water bottle
🏒 Keeping track of practices, games & tournaments
🏒 Remembering what day you’re supposed to be where
🏒 And somehow finding time for extra training

And don't forget the most important one:

**Enjoy watching your player do what they love. ❤️**

What would you add to the hockey parent checklist?

A hockey training facility doesn't have to be just for the top players on the ice.

Players develop at different ages, at different speeds, and with different goals.

Some are learning the fundamentals.

Some want to make their rep team.

Some want to become stronger skaters.

Some simply want to feel more confident on the ice.

There's room for all of them.

At Hat Trick, training is available for players at different levels, from beginners through advanced athletes.

🏒 What is your player's biggest hockey goal this season?

There's just something about it.

The sound of skates.

The puck hitting the stick.

The chatter between teammates.

The excitement before a session starts.

Hockey is more than a sport.

It's a community.

❤️ What's your favourite sound at the rink?

Sometimes you don't need a complicated plan.

You just need more opportunities to practice.

More reps.
More touches.
More time working on the things you want to improve.

Hat Trick offers private and combo training options, along with skating, synthetic ice and on-ice development opportunities.

🏒 What would your player spend an extra hour working on?

New season. New on-ice structure. 🏒

We’ve restructured our on-ice training sessions by age group to create a better experience for players at every stage of development.

Our new age-group tiers are:

🏒 Learn to Skate | Mixed
🏒 U7–U9
🏒 U10–U12
🏒 U13–U15
🏒 U16–U18

By grouping players into more focused age ranges, we can create a better flow on the ice while providing training that is better suited to each stage of a player’s development.

Whether your player is just learning to skate or working toward the next level, there’s a place for them at Hat Trick.

Check out the new schedule and find the right session for your player!
