rs and a member of the 1997-98 Canadian National Team, Shawn Allard has been a winning player all of his life. In addition to his extensive playing career, Shawn spent the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons as head coach of the Epinal Dolphins of the French Elite League where he holds every coaching record in the club’s history. Before settling back in Canada, Shawn joined the staff of Lausanne HC, Switzerland and capped off the year winning the 2009 playoff championship. He is currently the Skills Coach for the Colorado Avalanche NHL team and has been since 2018. From NHL and European Pro’s to kids in their first years of competitive hockey, Shawn has a vast experience of coaching at all levels. Throughout his career Shawn has been known as a perfect skater, leader and master communicator. Over the years Shawn has developed these three skills into the Perfect Skating System, creating a program that not only focuses on power but perfects all aspects of skating.
