Kincardine Cardinals Jr. Defeats North Middlesex On Back Of Clutch Display From Beisel

Jordan Beisel drove in four runs on four hits to lead Kincardine Cardinals Jr. past North Middlesex 13-5 on Friday at 225 McLeod Street. Jordan Beisel doubled in the fourth scoring two, hit a solo home run in the first scoring one, doubled in the third scoring one, and singled in the seventh scoring one.

Kincardine Cardinals Jr. got on the board in the first inning after Jordan Beisel hit a solo home run.

Kincardine Cardinals Jr. added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Jordan Beisel doubled, and Jordan Beisel scored after tagging up, each scoring one run.

Mack Beisel earned the win for Kincardine Cardinals Jr.. The starter allowed five hits and five runs over five and one-third innings, striking out three and walking four. Wilson Shipp threw one and two-thirds innings of zero-run ball for Kincardine Cardinals Jr. in relief. The righty allowed zero hits, striking out none and walking four.

Kincardine Cardinals Jr. amassed 16 hits in the game. Hunter Fry, Jared Houghton, Kaleb Meyer, and Austin Waite each collected multiple hits for Kincardine Cardinals Jr.. Kincardine Cardinals Jr. had patience at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Wilson Shipp, Mack Beisel, and Carter Fry led the team with two walks each. In Walk-Off, Kincardine Cardinals Jr. Lose To Mitchell

A walk-off left Kincardine Cardinals Jr. on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to Mitchell on Sunday at 5973 Frank St. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the seventh when #2 singled, scoring one run.

Kincardine Cardinals Jr. lost despite out-hitting Mitchell 15 to 10. Nate Arnold and Jordan Moulton each collected three hits for Kincardine Cardinals Jr..

Kincardine Cardinals Jr. were the first to get on the board in the first when Nate Arnold homered to right field, scoring three runs.

Kincardine Cardinals Jr. added one run in the second. Nate Arnold doubled to center field, making the score 4-1.

Mitchell captured the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the fifth after #18 singled down the right field line, and #18 scored after tagging up, each scoring one run.

Nate Arnold singled to center field, which helped Kincardine Cardinals Jr. tie the game at five in the top of the sixth.

#9 earned the win for Mitchell. The hurler surrendered seven hits and one run over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three. Mack Beisel took the loss for Kincardine Cardinals Jr.. The hurler went one and one-third innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out none and walking one. Jared Houghton began the game for Kincardine Cardinals Jr.. Kincardine Cardinals Jr. took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Kyle Smeltzer walked, and Jordan Beisel grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run.

Kincardine Cardinals Jr. extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Owen Tilker and Jordan Moulton.

Owen Krauter earned the win for Kincardine Cardinals Jr.. The righty allowed four hits and three runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking four. #1 took the loss for North Middlesex. The reliever went four and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits, striking out four and walking one. Wilson Shipp collected the save.
