Thank You to our 2026 Sponsors. Funds received over the last 2 years helped us fund repairs to the roof and replace our aging heating system which was completed this Winter.

A Joint Use Agreement is in place where Selkirk Secondary School has exclusive and free use of the facility during the school day. Selkirk students can be seen in the facility playing Handball, Dodgeball, Tennis, Jogging, and Fitness training. The tennis courts are available to Kimberley and Cranbrook tennis players outside of school hours.

Sponsorship and funds received benefit both Selkirk students, our community, and KITC.

We are looking for vintage photos of Kimberley Indoor Tennis. The Tennis Bubble was at the ski hill before its current location beside Selkirk School parking lot. Building relocated and rebuilt 2001 to 2004.

We are hoping to post vintage photos on our bulletin board.

Tennis Anyone?
Trying to gauge interest on a Mixed Doubles fun league for Saturday 3pm to 5pm for Feb 21, 28, and March 7.

Sub List will be available in case you can not make one of the Saturdays.

League for players new to KITC and allows you to meet new people and friends. Skill level of players should be around 3 to 4.0 (NTRP) as per attached photo. Maximum 8 players and minimum 4 players.

Cost:
Normal court fees of $24 per hour apply.
Each doubles player to pay $12 for the 2 hour league play session unless you have a membership.

WANTED: Subs for our Sub List for our various Doubles League.

Are you interested in being a Sub (Substitute) doubles tennis player?

On occasion, some of our league players are unable to play on a given day.

If you are interested in being added to our sub list, please send email to [email protected] with your name and cell phone and please indicate which League Play is of interest.

This is also a good way to meet new people and tennis players. The main goal of our Leagues is to have fun, winning is secondary.

1. Team Tennis Doubles League:
Play once a week rotating on Monday, Tuesday or Wed 7pm to 9pm. League play ends mid April.
Mostly men but we have a few harder hitting ladies playing.

2. Ladies Doubles
Play once a week. Each week you have a different partner. League play ends mid May.
Monday 5pm to 7pm

3. Mixed Doubles
Play once a week. Each week you have a different partner. League play ends mid May.
Thursday 4pm to 6pm

Selkirk School and Kimberley Indoor Tennis Courts Thanks Marci Scott for her generous donation of $100.

The Tennis Facility is used by Selkirk School during the school day for their Physical and Health Education Program. Students can be seen doing dryland training, playing dodgeball, handball, jogging, sprints, etc.

Her donation will fund the roof repairs that are currently being performed this month.

Kimberley Indoor Tennis Courts and Selkirk Secondary School expresses a Big Thank You to Mark Creek Lions Club for their generous contribution of $500 (Silver Sponsorship Level) to our 2025/26 Fundraising Drive. This is the 2nd consecutive year that the Mark Creek Lions Club has donated!

The Facility is used by Selkirk School during the school day for their Physical and Health Education Program. Students can be seen doing dryland training, playing dodgeball, handball, jogging, sprints, etc.

Funds collected are being used to fund future roof repairs, replace aging heating system, and surface repairs. Roof Repairs are currently in progress this month.
