Northern Ontario Championships Presented by Diameter Apparel

We are excited to have Huntsville Downs in our Course line up for this years event. This will be an open golf style of course that will test players mental strength and a bunch of different skills.

The course will feature many great holes that will have water features, elevation changes, and tough greens and basket placements. As well, while playing at this course during the tournament you will get to experience the gorgeous fall colour change on one of the best golf course Muskoka has to offer.

The course has a team of designers that designed and built Limberlost Links as well as Chris Ozolins from the ODSA will be helping us with his experience in building many courses around Ontario.

Finally, one more huge thanks goes to the Crew at Top Link Disc Golf who is supporting our event and supplying us with the baskets for this course.

Pre Registration for the event is now open on DGS and will remain open until June 19th at 8pm when registration opens to the public!

This year’s Northern Ontario Championship (NOC) presented by Diameter Apparel will be hosted in Huntsville, Ontario, and the surrounding area on Saturday, October 14th & Sunday, October 15th, 2023. Enjoy the fall colours while you play 2 of the area courses; Limberlost Links, Wolf Tracks at Bondi, and Huntsville Downs Golf Course. Pool A players will be playing Wolf Tracks & Huntsville Downs, while Pool B players play Limberlost & Huntsville Downs.

Players will experience a shotgun start for 3 rounds over the 2 days of the tournament along with all the beauty and amenities that Muskoka has to offer.

Early Registration via Hole Sponsorship opens Friday, June 16th at 8 pm, with Open General registration to follow on Monday, June 19th at 8 pm.

We are excited to be kicking off the Muskoka Disc golf Season with the first Muskoka Shootout at Limberlost Saturday!

In preparation of the event all the remaining tee pads that were covered by snow or ice have now been cleared and are ready to be played!

The course is in good condition with some snow in some areas but 90% of the course is snow free and with the high temperatures we hope we will have almost no snow for the event.

Muskoka Shootout #1 is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Hunstville, Ontario beginning April 15, 2023 and hosted by Muskoka Disc Golf Assocation.

Announcing the Muskoka Shootout Series, this will be a series of events hosted in and around the Muskoka Area. These events will be PDGA sanctioned and will give everyone a chance to experience all the amazing courses we have.

These events will also come with an added bonus for everyone who is a member of any of our 3 Partnered Clubs (Huntsville, Bracebridge, and South River). For every Shootout that a member plays, they will earn a ticket into a raffle to win a spot in this year's Provincial.

I am excited to kick off this series in just over a week's time at Limberlost on April 15th.

We're excited to share that multiple bids have been submitted, finalists interviewed, and our winners chosen to host this year's Ontario Provincials & Northern Ontario Championships.

We are thrilled to announce that the Brant Disc Golf Club has been awarded the 2023 Ontario Provincial Disc Golf Championships. The event will take place October 27-29th with Winter Farms Disc Golf Course, Paris & Mohawk Park playing host to our athletes.

The Muskoka Disc Golf Association has been awarded the 2023 Northern Ontario Disc Golf Championships. We're excited to see them leverage the experience gained with last year's major and knock this year's NOC out of the park! The event will take place October 14-15th with Bondi Village Resort & Limberlost DGC acting as the co-venues.

In 2023, the OCC Tour returns to its pre-pandemic structure acting as a qualifying tour for the Provincial Championships. Disc golfers who win their division at an OCC event will qualify for the Ontario Championships, with spots passing down no further than 2nd place if a division winner has already qualified.

We are still accepting submissions from all Ontario Tournament Directors who would like to be part of the OCC tour and host a Provincial Qualifier event in 2023. TDs looking to apply can fill out the form, available on the https://www.ontariodiscsports.ca homepage.
