Hi folks,
Our 2022 RV birding trip of a LIFETIME has finally come to an end a few weeks ago. My wife Christine Trudeau's objective, and mine, during this 50-day road trip (May 14 to July 2) was to add as many lifers as possible (a bird never seen before) and to add new Canadian birds to our lists. Another objective was to photograph species which we had few or no photos of.
We did this, hoping to experience at the same time, the beauty of Canada as we travelled at our own pace across Ontario (oh what a long province we have!), Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia; this right up to the shores of the Pacific Ocean and beyond, and back again.
This was Christine's first western Canadian trip, and my second. I completed my first road trip with the late Christine Bouvier (née Sears) during the summer of 76.

Notre voyage d'observation des oiseaux en VR en 2022 a finalement pris fin il y a quelques semaines. L'objectif de ma femme Christine, et le mien, lors de ce voyage de 50 jours (du 14 mai au 2 juillet) était d'ajouter le plus de prime coches possibles (un oiseau jamais vu auparavant) et d'ajouter de nouveaux oiseaux canadiens à nos listes. Un autre objectif était de photographier des espèces dont nous n'avions que peu ou pas de photos.
Nous avons fait cela, espérant découvrir en même temps la beauté du Canada en voyageant à notre rythme à travers l'Ontario (oh quelle longue province nous avons!), le Manitoba, la Saskatchewan, l'Alberta et la Colombie-Britannique ; ceci jusqu'aux rives de l'océan Pacifique et au-delà, et vice-versa.
C'était le premier voyage de Christine dans l'Ouest canadien et mon deuxième. J'ai effectué mon premier séjour en auto avec la regrettée Christine Bouvier (née Sears) durant l'été 76.
