Hundreds of children in Uganda are able to walk, and even run, because hockey teams in Canada have sponsored their surgeries. Today in southeastern Uganda the O4A '18th Kids' are wearing their jersey's honouring all those that are suffering through this Canadian tragedy. Our love goes out to all those who are grieving and those whose futures are still uncertain.

Friday Night Fun Darts were just as much fun as usual. 12 hardy souls braved the weather so we had 3 boards of play.This is not a true league, we draw names for the teams every week and usually it's 4 to a board and we start at 8:00. Typically we play 2 teams of 2 per board, for a total of 4, but, we are very happy to change those numbers if we have more that show up. You don't even need to be a member, you don't even need to own darts, we have loaner darts. We play 5 games of 501 and the last round is the one we all look forward to, it's the "beer round". Which ever team wins, the losing partners buy the winning partners in their team, a "beer" or whatever they want to drink. We had some really great scores this week, Bonnie managed to get 3 darts in the triple seven spot, all in the same hole, Mike shot a huge 116 and Joe got a high of 118 ( made me happy because he was on my team). Board 1 winner was Sue, board 2 winner was John S. and board 3 winner was Robin. We get kind of loud sometimes, actually I get pretty loud when I score well, even louder when I win, but, don't let that keep you home. Regular darts ended early so a bunch of us stayed and played 3 games of Cricket. Ted somehow managed to win the first 2 games and John S. won the 3rd. I was the ultimate loser because I never managed to clear any numbers, it was a quiet game. We want to encourage everyone to come out on Friday night, maybe have a great perch dinner, stay and have a really fun game of darts. We ALL have fun. Come on down and join us, there's lots of room and the more the merrier
