Yesterday was certainly a dream come true! Our team went High Limit Racing at Butler Motor Speedway in Michigan 🇺🇸 for our 2nd ever 410 race. To show speed against some of the best in the USA was extremely rewarding for our small team and a testament to what we can be capable of. In Hot Laps for Darren’s first time on the track he was 4th fastest in Flight A, and qualified 10th in his flight after a small mistake which was still great qualifying results for us. We went 5th to 5th in a stacked heat race while holding pace with them to qualify right into the show. After starting 19th in the A-Main Darren drove up to 17th in the first few laps before he fell back to 18th where he ended up. It was a green to checkered race and ended up getting lapped by the top 4 by the middle of the race. The exciting part was we were able to keep pace with them and actually catch them at times, where Darren held that spot until the checkered flew. Unfortunately in the A-Main one of the wing posts twisted as Darren began to trunk the wing, causing it to bind up and not be able to raise it any further which would have been helpful. All in all, an amazing and sureal night for the team, showing strong pace in just our 2nd 410 race and a 34 car field!
