I want to take a moment to recognize our team for an incredible season. While tonight’s result wasn’t what we hoped for, I could not be more proud of the effort, dedication, and heart these players showed all year.
They represented our program, our school, and our community with class and toughness. Championships are never guaranteed, but the character this group showed is something that will last far beyond the game.
Thank you to our players, coaches, families, and supporters for standing behind us every step of the way. We will learn from this, grow from this, and come back stronger.
Congratulations Bayview for bringing the title back to Capital. It’s always a battle when we play you but what I can say is there’s always a level of respect. To your seniors relish in this because it’s something you will remember for a lifetime, not everyone can say they are Provincial Champs.
