So, there's been a slight change of plans....

This weekend we have a new Farm Stand opening their doors for the first time in our community (say hello to Michelle and Melissa to congratulate them on their new stand, Eagles Landing!), so we decided to change our stand opening date to match with our GRAND OPENING on June 27th.

With a few new farm stands opening their doors in our community, we feel that every stand needs to have their own day to shine!

In the meantime, mark your Calendar for June 27th! The Treasure Mountain Community Stand will open at 11am and remain open until dusk. Then from 4pm until 6pm we will be at our kayak launch location for a FREE KAYAKING afternoon, followed by a beachside BBQ at 6pm! Check the poster for addresses/location!

Bring your family, your appetite, good weather and good cheer, and we'll see you for the official Treasure Mountain Inc. GRAND OPENING!

Kayak rentals open TODAY! I know the sky is a little overcast and the temps aren't very summer-ish, but don't let that deter you from booking your kayak outing. These kinds of days are some of my favorite times to be on the water. Added bonus, NO BUGS!

We have some UPDATES! :D

With the construction of the new Farm Stand taking longer than expected (it's a beauty though!), getting insurance set up and waiting on new kayaks and supplies to arrive, everything took a bit longer to get ready than anticipated. BUT....we're nearly there!

So, here are some updates (I'll make individual posts for some of these items, so make sure to follow this page):

- Kayak rentals will be available beginning on June 15th! To reserve your paddling Adventure, make sure to reserve your dates through our website at mytreasuremountain.ca

- The Farm Stand opens June 20th and will be open every Saturday from 11am until 3pm. Keep an eye out for a special post about the Farm Stand and come check out the gorgeous new building!

- although we've been around since last Summer, we never really had a grand opening.....so our official GRAND OPENING is on June 27th! We'll have kayaks available for folks to try out at our main location on East Side Harbour Road. I'll do an individual post for this event as well so keep your eyes peeled.

Aside form this, we're also working on a Treasure Mountain membership, which will offer various discounts and benefits (such as rental rate discounts, special exclusive events, special rental times, etc), AND we're developing a drop-in guided "Social Sundays" series for folks to give paddling a try (picnic included) which will launch every Sunday from the Guysborough Waterfront beginning in July. We'll also be offering guided sunset paddles and a few other cool things to do on the water.....so....follow along and come join us on the water this summer!

It's getting there ☺️

This Community Farm Stand will be available for local growers, bakers, and makers to utilize as needed. So if you are from the Boylston and surrounding area and have extra produce from your garden, love to bake, or occasionally craft some cool things to share with your community, feel free to reach out to us about our Community Farm stand!

Our goal is to create a welcoming space where folks from our surrounding area can sell, trade, or share their extras with their neighbors in an old school, down to earth and back to our roots kinda way.

The summer season is almost here!

We are getting ready to open for the 2026 season in early June, with a new fleet of Kayaks, new adventure offerings, and a brand new Community Farm Stand (sneak peek photo attached)!

Hi all....a quick update regarding our Community Farm Stand.

With so many wonderful Markets coming up across Guysborough County and neighboring communities, and not to mention Christmas approaching quickly, our stand contributors are in high demand. As such, we've decided to put our Community Farm stand on "pause" until after the Christmas Holidays.

But we'll be back! We will post an update here as soon as the stand starts back up again in January, because, we heard you! Thank you to those of you who voted on our little poll last week. We will keep going....but we need to get through the holiday market season first.

Thank you everyone for showing such encouragement to our stand contributors over the past months by choosing to get back to the grass roots of supporting local. We'll see you all again soon!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick note that our weekly Community Farm Stand for tomorrow will be CLOSED due to impending weather (our little TV stand won't hold up to a downpour).

BUT...we will be back next week and are preparing the boutique space to be used for our self-serve Community Stand during the winter months.....if you want us to!

So, this is where your feedback would be a HUGE help to decide whether we should keep the Community Stand going through the winter months....? What do you think? Would you continue to support our stand during the winter months (road conditions willing) and drive out for some home baked and home made goodies from our local home bakers and makers? We'd love to keep it going for as long as you want us to, so share your thoughts!
