On our last day at our old location we had loads of fun with a mini tournament that included push-up wars, arm wrestling and no head contact sparring. Each student was given a for-fun fight name and our very own Logan “The Reformer” acted as referee…

We also had picture day so lots was happening! Here are my favourites from the portrait collection… (More photos to come!)

We start tonight as a private club in our new spot and will continue to post and share updates with the community. Thank you for the outpouring of support today!

Hello.
A week and a half ago I received notice that our rent was being raised by more than three times our existing rates, effective immediately.
Unfortunately, as we cannot sustain such an increase, we have had no choice but to close our program to the public until further notice.
Fighting Lotus will be operating as a private club until the end of June due to the great generosity of one of our families who has provided us a space to train on their land.
We are heartbroken to turn anyone away as we have been very much about community and providing a safe place for anyone who wants to enjoy the many benefits of Martial Arts.
I am humbled and honoured to have been able to bring the incredible sport I love so much to this community since December 2021.
Thank you to every single one of you who came out to try a class and to all the awesome people who trusted me to be their coach. You are the backbone of our organization and I could not have done it without you.
If you are interested in learning Martial Arts we highly recommend contacting in Claresholm. I have been following their posts for some time and they have a wonderful program there.
Please support your local programs. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes. Sports and fitness are a wonderful benefit to any community, and with your support they can continue to bring great experiences to this town.

Hey ladies! Tonight’s the night. Our first cardio kickboxing and modified MuayThai for women only starts tonight. Classes run Tuesdays from 7-8pm. No experience necessary. Every fitness level welcome! We are located in the basement of the Claresholm United Church. (4803 2nd Street W) .yardley

Hey ladies! I’ve had some requests to start a cardio class for women, so we are doing it! Spring is just around the corner, so this is a perfect time to get a head start on your summer fitness. Feel more energized for hiking, playing with your kids or grandkids, going for a swim, golfing, or any other activity you enjoy. Classes will run Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm starting next week on March 11. Gear is available for purchase on site for your convenience, and at only $60 per month these classes will show you why MuayThai and Kickboxing are growing in popularity all over the world. Thai boxing is invigorating and fun, builds confidence and stamina, and gives us some basic tools to defend ourselves if we ever need to. Come try a class, bring your friends, get fit, and have fun doing it! This class will run for 16 weeks and you can start anytime! The first class is always free and there is no obligation to join. We are located in the basement of the Claresholm United Church at 4803 2nd Street West. See you there! .yardley

Big shout out to Logan for getting his Silver medal today at the Continuous Tournament today! Thank you to for your help in the corner and for the wonderful advice! We will be implementing your feedback for sure. A second shout out to Tyson, who, although he was down with a bad cold and couldn’t compete, still showed up to support the team! Thank you to Jasmine, Ivy, Bella, and the families for your support in being there and getting some great photos and videos for us. It was a great experience, and so nice to catch up with some old friends and acquaintances. We learned a lot and are super excited to get back to our training Monday! .yardley
