And for our final Player of the Game of these playoffs, we're recognizing a player who dug deep, found another gear, and left it all out on the ice! Livia! She pushed herself beyond her comfort zone, folks, for this final playoff push! Clearing the defensive zone, aggressive plays in the neutral zone, battling hard in the offensive zone to generate chances! Now, our playoff journey has come to an end, but Livia, you showed us something special out there. You discovered that extra level, that extra drive! And let me tell you, I can't wait to see what she does with that newfound drive next season! What a way to end the year, Livia! Absolutely outstanding!

Alright folks, playoff hockey! And let me tell you, that was a true test of determination! And your Player of the Game? Someone who left it all on the ice! Atlee! She brought it, every single shift! She lifted the entire team with her energy, her grit! Coaches always talk about attitude and effort, and Atlee, you had both in spades! And that effort? It paid off! Two huge goals, and a key assist that ignited the team! Now, we came up short today, but let me tell you, without Atlee's performance, this game might have been over early. That's playoff hockey! Today's Player of the Game decision was a tough one, a real tough one! Because we had two standouts, two warriors, who stood tall in the crease! That's right, today we're awarding Player of the Game to both our goalies! Brynne and Emory! They were peppered, absolutely peppered, with shots all game long! Shot after shot after shot! And as is our custom on these single-game weekends, they both got their chance to shine between the pipes! And shine they did! Brynne and Emory, you both deserve this honour! What a performance!

Adding to the excitement, AJHL Grande Prairie Storm goalie Nicholas Jones himself was in the house, cheering on the Knights! He saw firsthand the incredible performance these two young goalies put on and was excited to recognize their hard work!

And your Player of the Game today goes to a player who was an absolute force out there! Aggressive on the puck, aggressive on the play, and aggressive on the opponent! Sadie! You brought that energy today, and you shut down the other team's chances! This game was a rollercoaster, folks. We were up, we were down, we were up again! And it takes that constant energy, the kind Sadie brought, for a team to rally. That energy translated into points on the board, stifled the other team's opportunities, and breathed new life into this team when we were starting to fade. Great work out there, Sadie! I don't know what they're putting in those defense water bottles this weekend, but it's working! Our Player of the Game is another blue-liner who lit the lamp twice! Paige! She sparked that comeback, turning a 3-1 deficit into a nail-biter with two goals, two incredible end-to-end rushes! She knows when to pass, she knows when to skate, and she knows when to fire that puck! And then, the defensive effort! And yesterday's Player of the Game goes to a young defender who absolutely turned it up a notch! Liz! She played a whole new level of defense out there! Strong on the blue line, keeping the puck in the offensive zone, and get this, folks – she walked the puck in, not once, but twice, and buried it! We've got a big weekend of girls hockey coming up! Saturday, these ladies hit the ice at the Design Works Centre at 2:30 against Smoky River! Then, Sunday morning, it's off to Hythe Arena for a 9:15 AM puck drop against Beaverlodge!
These girls are nearing the end of their season, and it's been incredible to watch them grow together as a team. The progress they've made has been nothing short of exciting! So come on out and support these amazing athletes this weekend!

Making smart plays, moving the puck, accepting passes, generating some offensive chances... and you were tough as nails out there tonight!
