Grande Prairie PeeWee Football League

10/19/2026

Mark your calendars! WE’RE BACK! 🥊🔥

Our UFC Fight Night fundraiser was such a success last time — let’s do it again!

Join us Saturday, November 14 at Better Than Fred’s for UFC 334 — and this time it’s TWO title fights:

Gane vs Hokit for the heavyweight crown 👑
+
Harrison vs Nunes for the women’s bantamweight title!

Main card starts at 7 PM.

Huge shoutout to Better Than Fred’s for sponsoring 100% of the door charge — every single dollar raised goes directly back to our peewee league. 💚

Great fights. Good times. Even better impact. See you there! 🥊

We hope everyone had an amazing summer — football season for families has officially started, and now it’s time for our current and future athletes to lock in! 🏈

GPPWFL is exploring a monthly Winter Football Fundamentals Day at JDA County Sportsplex for Atom to Bantam-aged players.

Never played football before? Perfect. This would be a fun, welcoming, no-gear-needed way to see what football is all about—learn the basics, try some drills, make friends, and build confidence in a low-pressure environment.

Whether your player is already involved in football or simply curious to give it a try, everyone is welcome!

We’re still in the early planning stages, so we’d love to hear from families who may be interested. Dates, registration details, and fees will be determined based on interest and participant numbers.

Drop a comment below or send us a message if your player would be interested in coming out!

Consider this us planting the seed for the 2027 season! 🌱🏈

If you’ve ever thought about coaching PeeWee football, now’s the perfect time to start thinking about it.

Our athletes are only able to have the experience they do because of the incredible volunteers who step up to coach. The impact of a great coach goes far beyond football—they help build confidence, resilience, teamwork, respect, and lifelong memories.

Whether you’re an experienced coach or brand new to the game, we’d love to welcome you to our coaching family. You don’t need to know everything—we’ll support you every step of the way.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the beginning of 2027, where coaching opportunities for the upcoming season will begin to take shape. For now, we just wanted to put the bug in everyone’s ear! We’ll send out more information and reminders as the year comes to an end.

We can’t wait to build on the momentum of an incredible 2026 season and look forward to another amazing year of PeeWee football in 2027. 💙🏈
