💙⛸ Introducing Our One-of-a-Kind Figure Skating Cheer Team! ⛸💙
This hockey season, something truly special has taken shape at our local rink.
A dedicated group of local figure skaters has come together to form a first-of-its-kind Figure
Skating Cheer Team for our junior hockey club, The Beaver Valley NiteHawks! — and it's something our community has never seen before.
These athletes are doing far more than just skating before the puck drop. They’re choreographing their own routines, mixing their own music, creating custom costumes, and committing themselves to both gym and ice training every single week. They’ve taken two
unique ice sports — figure skating and hockey — and found a way to unite them in a way that celebrates athleticism, creativity, and hometown pride.
Every performance lights up the arena, energizes the crowd, and showcases the incredible talent we have right here in our community. This team has not only brought a new level of excitement to game nights — they’ve also inspired young skaters, created a space for
collaboration, and set a new standard for what community spirit can look like.
💪 But all of this takes time, effort, and resources.
We’ve launched a Sparkplug Coffee fundraiser to help support this amazing team — from costumes to creativity!
