Congratulations to all the girls named to the U18 AAA TNT Western Flames roster for the 2026–27 season!

It’s great to see so many familiar faces earning an opportunity at the next level. And a big shoutout to every girl who stepped on the ice and competed through the tryout process. Putting yourself out there and giving it your best is something to be proud of too.

A pretty incredible tribute from Hunter Brothers Farm in Florenceville!

Their 2026 corn maze is celebrating the PWHL Victoire de Montréal and their Walter Cup championship, bringing women’s hockey into one of New Brunswick’s favourite fall traditions.

Hunter Brothers Farm always does an amazing job creating something fun for families, and this year’s theme is a pretty special one for hockey fans.

We know a bunch of Rebels will be making their way to Florenceville to take on the maze this fall! 🌽

Big night for Josh Arbeau at Speedway 660!

Josh, the man behind Triple A Automotive, is behind the wheel of the #61 Chevrolet Monte Carlo tonight for 100 laps of Street Stock racing. You may also recognize the Triple A Automotive trailer from our Friendship Tournament last month.

We’re proud to have Rink Rebels along for the ride and thankful to Josh and Triple A Automotive for their support.

Friendship Medal Spotlight

Jules Devos
U9 Goalie | PEI Frost | Prince Edward Island

Awarded By: Nova Scotia Comets

Jules earned the Friendship Medal for something that perfectly represents what this medal is all about. Between each period, she made a point of fist bumping the opposing goalie, showing that you can compete hard and still show respect and kindness to the player at the other end of the ice.

Jules is described as the heartbeat of her team and the ultimate hype leader. She brings energy wherever she goes and makes sure her teammates are loud, excited and, most importantly, having fun.

She also takes the “Goalie Union” seriously. Whether it is a glove tap or a few words of encouragement, Jules makes a point of supporting other goalies, even when they are wearing the other jersey.

For Jules, hockey is about competing, having fun and sharing a love for the game with the people around you.

That sounds like a Rink Rebel to us.

Congratulations, Jules! Keep bringing the energy and representing the Goalie Union!

It’s more than just hockey. It’s about who we become through it.

Last week, these girls took part in the UNB REDS Girls Leadership & Coaching Academy and completed their NCCP Coach 1 Course!

A special shoutout to Sarah Hilworth, Head Coach of the UNB REDS Women’s Hockey Team, for putting this program together and for continuing to be such a strong mentor and advocate for women in hockey.

The girls also had the chance to put their new coaching skills to work with a group of U7/U9 female players. Watching them step into that leadership role and share what they’ve learned with younger girls was a pretty special way to wrap up the program.

Thank you, Sarah, for investing in the future of women in hockey and helping show the next generation that leadership can happen both on and off the ice.

We’re excited to see where these Rebels take their coaching journeys next!

The Brendon Oreto Foundation hockey gear donation bins are now at Grant Harvey Centre and Willie O’Ree Place!

If you have gently used hockey equipment your family has outgrown or no longer needs, this is a great opportunity to give it a second life and help another young player get on the ice.

Skates, sticks, gloves, helmets and other hockey gear can make a real difference for families in our community.
