We had a few new faces come visit us at the pasture recently! 🐴❤️

A lovely group reached out asking if they could come down, spend a little time with the horses and take some fun photos—and of course, we were happy to welcome them!

They were an absolute blast to have around, and it was so much fun getting to share a little piece of what we love about this place with people who were genuinely excited just to be here. The horses got plenty of attention, there were lots of laughs, and judging by the photos they shared with us afterward, I think everyone had a pretty good time.

One of our favourite things about the club is getting to be part of our little community and occasionally getting the chance to share the horses, the pasture and a bit of the horse-world magic with others.

Thank you so much for coming to visit, for being so wonderful with our horses, and for sharing some of your photos with us afterward. We loved having you! ❤️🐴

And speaking of a little horse-world magic... keep your eyes on the page as Halloween gets closer. 👀🎃

There have been rumours of a rather unusual China sighting coming to the pasture... 🕷️ 🧙‍♀️👻🍬🦄🐴

That’s all we’re saying for now. 😏

Council is excited to award a $5,000 grant to the Fox Creek Light Horse Association through this year's Grants to Groups Program.

This funding will assist with operating expenses for the heated waterer and upgrading fencing, helping the Association maintain a safe and functional facility for its members and horses year-round.

Council is proud to support local organizations like the Fox Creek Light Horse Association that invest their time, energy, and volunteer efforts into enhancing recreation opportunities and community spaces in Fox Creek

Congratulations to the Fox Creek Light Horse Association!

There’s something pretty special about a community that shows up, rolls up their sleeves, and backs a dream.

We want to tip our hats and say thank you to Chace Lamb, Rival Trucking, and the Chiefs Hockey Team for your continued support and generous donations toward our new arena.

This project has been built with grit, volunteer hours, sore backs, muddy boots, and a whole lot of heart—and because of support like yours, we’re so dang close to seeing this part of the dream finished.

The progress that’s been made so far has been amazing, and it simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community. Every little bit truly helps, and every contribution leaves a lasting impact for our members, horses, families, and future generations to enjoy.

From all of us—thank you for backing this project, believing in the vision, and helping us bring it home. We’re almost there. Fox Creek Horse Club FCLHA Rival Trucking
