We are getting closer to our first drop in. Just over 1 week. Looking forward to seeing everyone out on Monday Sept 14th.

With this being our first time using the ACL format, we will be there early to help people learn the new way of registering and getting set up.

If you go to www.iplayacl.com and create a free player profile it will help speed things up once you get there Monday.

If you’ve never been out to a Wendigo Co****le night, this is a great time to come out. Free registration if you’ve never played a Wendigo event. And if you’ve played a Wendigo Co****le night, and you bring a friend that hasn’t, you both get to play for free!!!

Come out for a fun night!!!

Any questions shoot us a message and we will gladly help you out.

We have joined ACL Canada!!!

We have also changed to Monday nights at the Fort Kent Community Center for our weekly nights starting September 14th with some drop-ins.

What does this mean for you? If you’re one of our regular weekly players, the fun doesn’t change. Still $5 to play. Still no experience necessary to come out and have fun. We will use a new app and new scoring system that should make it easier. We will still do our regular Wendigo point standings and our commitment awards.

If you’re someone that takes Co****le a little more serious, then you can earn some points for ACL Canada.

We will be looking at doing some regional weekend tournaments throughout the year as well with this change.

We’ve got some exciting news that will be released in the next few days.

Hard to believe that we are already half way through August. But that means that we are getting closer to Co****le starting up again at the Fort Kent Hall.

Our association is geared to all levels of players. From the weekend warrior, to the backyard champ, to the person that has never played before. Everyone is welcome to come out and play. Come alone, or come with a group.

There is no commitment to come every week. Come when you can, and we’re sure you will end up coming out more and more. During a national Co****le tournament there were dozens of players asked “what keeps you coming back to play the sport” and the answer that everyone had was “the Co****le community, you won’t find a better group of people that become your friends”.

Next up in our Player Spotlight series is Jody Oliver from Alberta, representing Wendigo.

Jody has been playing co****le for about a year and a half and throws Lucky Bags Pro Snipers. In a short time, he’s already put together some strong results, including a Tier 2 Men’s national win that stands out as a big accomplishment in his co****le journey.

When Jody steps up to the boards, his mindset is simple: have fun, throw well, and keep improving his PPR.

What keeps him coming back is a mix of two things that make co****le so special — the community around the game and the competition that pushes you to get better. As Jody puts it, you’re not only competing against other players, you’re always competing against yourself too.

And away from the boards, Jody’s got another passion as well — he likes smashing cars up in demolition derbies.

We’re glad to have Jody representing Alberta here at the 2026 Canadian National Co****le Championships, and we’re excited to keep following his run.

What a great showing by some of our Wendigo players this weekend at the Alberta Co****le Association provincial tournament.

Friday afternoon started out with the 32 top players in the province battling it out. Jody came into the tournament in 32nd spot, but battled his way through, finishing up 13 on the day.

Saturday afternoon was doubles. Rhys had the best showing out of our three players, partnering with a player from spruce grove. They came in 4th place, just missing the podium.

Saturday night was the Crew cup tournament. Hanna was on team Misfits, made up with players from Calgary, Strathmore and Edmonton, and they went 4-0 in the rounders to take top spot going into the bracket. Rhys and Jody teamed up with Kathy and Krista from the Cold Blooded Cornhoke league to form team Outsiders. The Outsiders battled their way to a podium finish getting 3rd place.

Sunday was all about singles. Hanna shot lights out going 6-0 in the round robin games putting her in 2nd place going into the bracket. In the bracket she ran into some stiff competition and came in a very respectable 5th place in the province in Tier 3.

Jody finished the weekend off with the Wendigos best showing of the weekend in Tier 2 singles. After going 5-1 in the round robin games he was sitting second going into the bracket. Jody made it right to the end in the bracket, coming up just short and finishing in second place in the province.

What a great showing by our three Wendigo players that went to provincials this weekend.

Anybody else having Co****le withdrawals with not having our league nights the last couple of weeks? With all the rain and wind we’ve had it makes it hard to get outside and play.

Who thinks we should do a $5 drop in night on June 16th or June 23rd? Or both.

Comment here with what night you’d be able to make it. And we will gauge interest and see if we can make it happen.
