🤩2026 Jackpot Rules🤩
1. Age is based off of January 1, 2026
2. Basic barrel racing rules will apply. Any changes will be up to the committees discretion.
3. A broken pattern or tipped barrel will be considered a no time.
4. Reruns will only be given if there is an issue with the eye.
5. This is a 3D format with a seven tenth split in the open and a one second split in the youth.
6. Waivers MUST be signed at your first jackpot before you are allowed to compete.
7. Youth are allowed to run in the open but there will be NO rolling of times.
8. Abuse towards horses or other animals will NOT be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the premise and will not be permitted to enter anymore jackpots.
9. Abuse towards staff and volunteers will NOT be permitted. You will be asked to leave the premise and will not be permitted to enter anymore jackpots.
10. NO COMPLAINING. We are putting these on so that we all have somewhere to run in a fun and supportive environment. If you do not like the ground, set up, or any of the volunteers do not come. If we hear of any negative comments you will not be permitted to enter anymore jackpots.
11. 70% payout to competitors. The other 30% will go towards arena fees and year end prizes.
12. Points will be given out to 5th place in each D. Prizes will be given out to 4th place in each D (pending sponsorship this may increase). Buckles will be given out to first in each D in both Open and Youth barrels.
13. All fees MUST be paid in cash so that we can do payouts the same day as the jackpots. NO EXCEPTIONS.
14. PeeWees cannot enter the youth or open. We are doing this so that beginners have a fair chance to learn and grow. If you are a competitive rider, please consider entering the youth.
15. PeeWees are allowed to be on lead line.
16. No points or money will be awarded to the PeeWees. All PeeWees who attend 3/5 jackpots will receive a prize at the finals.
17. The finals are a CLOSED finals. This means that the final jackpot does not count towards your 3/5 jackpot count and NO POINTS will be awarded at the finals. Instead, we will have finals prizes AND series prizes.
18. The finals will be ran on a Sunday morning. We will have a potluck lunch followed by prizes. This allows our sponsors an opportunity to present their awards.
19. You must attend and run in the finals to get a prize and you must claim your own prize. You must use the same horse that you got points on throughout the series at the finals.
20. Same horse/rider combo must be used for 3/5 jackpots in order to receive points. You will receive the prize in the D in which you have the most points for each horse.
21. Jackpots will be cancelled if weather is 30 degrees or higher. This is to protect our horses, competitors, and volunteers.
22. Peewee riders are based on age and/or skill level. Children 8 years and younger are considered peewee as well as beginner riders (cannot lope an entire pattern). Beginner riders will be up to the discretion of the producers.
23. You must attend finals to receive your prize. There are not exceptions for this.
24. Have fun! We are here to have a great time. Please be supportive and helpful to one another.
