Yes we are under construction again! With the spring temps its time to start putting in a proper floor. What a difference its making in the feel of our barn!

Bentley says "does this rider make me look fat?" Rest assured hes getting some daily walking miles to fit him up for trail season lol. Slow and frequent is the name of the game right now

There is nothing better than seeing the horses relaxing here in our home. Yes, they have carried me through some impressive accomplishments thanks tonour bond, but relaxing together is the ultimate display of trust and i am so thankful to have earned thay with them. ❤️

Bentley volunteered... no INSISTED he be trimmed today. I had intended on trimming whoever was closest to the barn, as i approached Westie, Bentley sees me with the "trim" look in my posture and came galloping over from the far side of the field. I opened the barn doors and he marched right into where i had set up my gear.

This is absolutely amazing as Bentley is the whole reason i went to to learn to barefoot trim. He was NOT liked by farriers and i was worried he would be a danger to them, so if he would be a danger to anyone it should be me only.

Now he trims happily without any restraint or even bribes. He sighs and chews the whole time, and i think hes honstly sad when its over.
