Very proud day for our LivingSkies & Whispering Rain family. 3 of our dogs all received their Working Certificate (WC) today. We would like to thank the Labrador retriever club for putting on such a great hunt test today, also thank you to the Judges and Volunteers without you all working so hard none of this would be possible.

But most of all congratulations to our dogs who worked so hard, showed up, and succeeded....

I have been struggling to find the words to put, to most people dogs are just dogs....but not to me, or my family, our dogs are our family. So On Sunday night when I saw something wrong with Nakaya I didn't second think twice, we headed right for the emergency vet. What both Ross and I thought was a simple bladder infection turned out to be our worst nightmare. She was diagnosed with lymphoma Cancer, the tumor was so large that it was blocking both her bladder & bowel off so she could not p*e or p**p; in turn causing her bladder to rupture, fast forward a couple hours while at the vet, and her Kidneys & Liver started shutting down. Ross & I made the only decision that we had. We had to Free my girl of her pain... I had not made a notification, but Nakaya was 17 days along in her pregnancy, so we not only lost my best friend but her litter of puppies as well.... to say that we are all shattered is beyond an understatement.
