Fear has become its own epidemic. In today’s world, many people are high functioning on the outside, but quietly carrying persistent anxiety, self-doubt, pressure to achieve, or the lingering sense that they’re “not enough” on the inside.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent years performing on major stages while privately battling severe performance anxiety. I understand what it means to be confronted with repeated trauma, crushing perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and relentless self-critique.

I share this small part of my story so you know that even those in the “spotlight” face a lot of darkness; you are not alone.

Now, as a Registered Psychotherapist (Q), I aim to help you navigate burnout, trauma, identity shifts, major life transitions, and the deeper emotional patterns that shape your relationship to psychological potential and self-worth.

Together, we’ll work to build emotional intelligence, reconnect with self-trust, and create a more sustainable relationship with personal growth and professional momentum.

I’m here to witness your unfiltered story with empathy, attunement, and skill to create a space where safety and curiosity coexist.

If you are ready to share your inner world, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.

There’s a kind of magic that happens when women are given the space to be fully themselves:

Soft and strong.
Expansive and grounded.
Fearce and kind.

Grateful to have hosted the launch of the new Eternal Aura fragrance by none other than Elizabeth Arden where we spent an afternoon rooted in presence, self-expression, and unique beauty.

From the blooms by , to the delicious food by , to the room full of meaningful conversation, the event was intentionally constructed to remind us that, like the scent itself, our impact extends long beyond the moment it’s released and stays behind after we leave.

Femininity is not only softness. It’s also strength.
It’s the magnolia in its wholeness; the colors, the petals and its euphoric scent. It is also the foundation of the flower; the stem and the earth in which it is planted.

Femininity is not either this or that.
It’s both and.
It’s self-defined.
And it’s ever blossoming.

“Strong backs, soft fronts, wild hearts…
The mark of a wild heart is living out the paradox of love in our lives. It’s the ability to be tough and tender, excited and scared, brave and afraid, all in the same moment. It’s showing up in our vulnerability and our courage, being both fearce and kind.”
- Brené Brown (Braving the Wilderness)

Extra special thank you to Roxanne DeNobrega Makeup for the stunning makeup 💄💋🌷

FEAR TO FEARCE has officially gone beyond the page and into your headphones. 📕👉🏽🎧

After three decades as a performing artist and singer, I’m deeply familiar with using my voice to move people through music. Yet, recording this audiobook asked my voice to carry a message without melody, tuning listeners to the wisdom in the words themselves.
Same soulful intention, different frequency.

Being Fearce isn’t only about maximizing potential and achieving the greatness our heart is calling us toward…

It’s also about honoring the pause between the push, just as a narrator honors their breaths between phrases.

It’s about accepting the cracks in our armour (or voices) with grace.

It’s about the to be present with our shadows, our shine, and everything in the middle.

The aim is to communicate this humanness as though I were sitting right beside you.

The hours and hours spent at V***r Music crafting these recordings with you - the mental warrior - in mind, were as stretching as they were sacred.

Stretching because I was again commanded to go through the very I offer in the book.

Sacred because I went through this process with one of the most brilliant voice directors, musicians and engineers I’ve ever met, and someone who is as committed to growth-mindset and rising through darkness as I am: Ryan Chalmers.

Ryan is one of those rare humans who somehow manages to be:
✨ a world-class, award winning multi-instrumentalist and songwriter
✨ a Creative Director & Senior Audio Engineer at V***r Music
✨ and still the most grounded, generous, relentlessly hardworking person in the room.

He strives for nothing less than excellence, driven by his devotion to the craft. He listened for meaning and protected the emotional integrity of the work. He made the studio feel safe enough to continue telling the truth out loud.

There is genuinely no one I would have trusted more to record this book with. Thank you Ry, from the bottom of my being. This win is as much yours as it is mine.

• Released my first full-length song in Spanish: “Gracias Por Amarme”

• Made some breakthroughs in Spanish fluency with the help of
(I can now make people laugh in Spanish. Whether it’s the joke or my caveman delivery is still up for debate)

• Achieved my U.S. visa
(first pursued and denied in 2014)

• Published my first book Fear To Fearce
(writing began in 2016)

• Reached Top 10 Bestseller list in “Stress Management” and came in one spot below on the “Self-Esteem” bestseller list 🤯

• Planned and hosted a sold-out book launch with beloved supporters from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

• One of my proudest wins: joined the Pure Minds Inc. team of wellness coaches, facilitators and speakers built on high-level expertise, giving back to diverse communities, lifting each other higher, and aligning with work that makes the world better
(A team: .pure.minds & DQ)

The biggest win of the year: All of this happened without sacrificing deep connection with friendships or quality family time, something I once believed success required.

This year has been another reminder to me that it takes years to achieve an overnight success.

2025 has been a heck of a Fearce ride… Here’s to bigger goals and continued success in 2026!!!

In Playa del Carmen and surrounding communities, many students leave school after 9th grade. This is not because they lack talent, but because their families lack the resources to keep them in public high school.

KKIS (Keeping Kids In School) is here to change that by providiing free English education, scholarships, leadership programs, and supplies to kids who otherwise don’t have access.

For the past year, I’ve had the privilege of helping kids learn English by volunteering with and it’s been meaningful beyond words!

As a Spanish learner myself, I know firsthand how vulnerable, frustrating, and courageous it is to speak a second language. Watching these kids show up with curiosity, resilience, and optimism continues to be incredibly humbling and inspiring.

It’s been a blast to laugh together, share jokes, and break through glass ceilings. The real blessing though, has been helping them open doors to greater education and career opportunities.

The team behind this nonprofit is kind, organized, and deeply supportive, making it easy to focus on what matters most: creating safe, encouraging spaces where kids can build confidence in their communication and themselves.

The holidays are the perfect time to look beyond our own worlds and give back. I encourage you to help kids find their voice by donating or sponsoring a kid’s school year: kkissproject.org 💛💙

Special thank you to the local leadership driving the movement! and Stuart!

And to my volunteer pals .xo 🫶🏽🫶🏽

To face our fears is to face ourselves; fear is the mirror of our inaction and untapped potential.

When we can push past feeling afraid, we can see fear as a shapeshifter with many functions:

Fear is our friend when it protects us from real life/death danger.

Fear is an enemy when it makes us run from taking necessary risks and stops us from excelling in life.

Fear is a compass to our destiny, if we’re brave enough to be honest about our desires.

Fear is a teacher, helping us discern whether it’s a friend, an enemy, or a compass.

Fear can be a liar or a truth-teller. Either way, we have to face it if we want to move past it.

Facing our fears can look like standing tall and beating our chest, or choosing to sit out and rest.
It can look like stepping into the spotlight or into the shadows.

What doesn’t kill us can indeed make us stronger and smarter, because every fear we face is another rep toward building resilience, personal power and psychological potential.

“We need our villains alive and well because without them we’re left to face ourselves.” - The Beast Within

September 30 marks Truth and Reconciliation Day in “Canada”… one nation within the larger whole of Turtle Island.

Participating in this day is an opportunity to deeply reflect on what has been broken and acknowledge the ongoing harms of colonialism against Indigenous peoples.

It’s a chance to remember the children who never returned home from the residential schools and elevate the voices of those who survived them.

This day represents one step toward repairing intergenerational trauma.

The “Resilient” shirts on our backs are especially meaningful today. They were designed by Anishinaabe-Irish artist Caitlin Wemigwans, who founded the brand to reclaim “past traditions that have been lost to many First Nations.” Pre&Peri is rooted in bridging “pre-colonial” traditions with our present “peri-colonial” urban realities.

You can support the business at preandperi.ca or visit their in-person locations (listed on the website) across Tkaronto (Toronto, Ontario).

🧡 Pre&Peri’s “Our Children Our Future” Orange shirts honour the child victims of residential schools and their descendants, with 50% of profits donated to , which provides practical humanitarian support to northern and remote Indigenous communities through community-led projects.

Beyond representing and uplifting brands like Pre&Peri, we have a lot of work ahead of us to walk a path of truth by continuing to ask hard questions, listening mindfully, learning skillfully, and building pathways toward collective repair and resilience.

Swipe to the last picture for a reminder of the dark truth about our history and pass it on.

I’m deeply honored to be part of a new purpose-driven platform called .life that just launched today!!! 🎤❤️‍🔥

This brainchild of .cat was created to support the mental health of women and teens who are navigating life’s darkness and daring to rise from it.

Healing isn’t about bypassing the hard stuff. It’s about turning toward the fear, the chaos, the ache, and choosing to meet it with compassion, courage, and community.

We’re not here to slap a smile on pain. Instead, through science-backed guidance and real stories from real women, we’re here to humanize it, move through it, and alchemize it into strength.

If something in you stirs reading this, let that be your signal: you’re not alone. Join this movement where women and girls are reclaiming their power, one honest conversation at a time. thiswayup.life
