Ron and Rose-Anne Kielo's Family Farm has been part of the Rebels family since 1997 when their boys joined the first ever Rebels Football team - And once a Rebel always a Rebel - Thank you for choosing to support us!

Harvest is wrapping up all around us these days and farmers are tired and achy, moving much like a sore football player after a game, having had to dig deep for every ounce of strength they contain. We can only hope our football players come out of our program half as tough as all the farmers that surround our community.

Have you ever thought about the similarities between a football team and a family farm?

First of all both entities work all year long to then reap their rewards at the peak of fall! Secondly football is a team sport with a capital T. Defense, offense, special teams - one is worthless without the other and every player depends on their teammates... on a family farm everyone is required to fulfill their specialized roles too for the wheels to keep turning - and trust is what ties everyone together on a farm as well as on a football field. Thirdly it goes for both a football team and a farm that a lot of components are out of their control. Setbacks are a given and longterm success very often comes down to how well the team responds to the setbacks. Championships aren't won overnight and a family farm isn't built without blood, sweat and tears as well as lots of resilience.

We are honoured to have family farms among our sponsors. The Gessell family's commitment to the community is admirable, and we are thankful for their contribution to our lights project as a First Down Sponsor. Thank You to G3 Farms!
