Shearwater Yacht Club Learn to Sail

Shearwater Yacht Club Learn to Sail Shearwater Yacht Club is now accepting registration for summer training for children 7-9, 9+ as well as adult. Day sessions will run from 9am-4pm.

We have 4 brand new 420 sailboats that we are excited to be using and 3 instructors eager to get going Here are the programs we are offering this summer. Drop off is as early as 8:30 with pickup no later than 4:40

5 Day sessions aimed at 7-9 year olds- $150+tax
10 Day sessions for 9+- $300+tax
Adult Evening Sessions (4 evenings, 6-9:30pm)- $150+tax

Military families will recieve a 10% discount

off the above prices

All session will be taught by Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) trained and certified instructors and students will be working on recieving CYA CanSail certification

Students will be expected to bring: proper sailing clothing (including proper footwear, hat, NOT jeans, ect), sunscreen, a change of clothing, towel, MOT approved PFD that is in good repair, and if desired a helmet.

Hi All, Remember that there is an open house tonight from 5-7pm. We will have coffee and tea available. Due to weather concerns there may not be sail boat rides, but Saturday is looking much more promising!
