After my competition in 2022, my body rebounded fast. 50 pounds came back on and I was not prepared for what that would do to me mentally or physically.

Every instinct told me to slash my calories and fix it fast. But that’s exactly what got me here in the first place.

So I did something harder. I stayed. I ate enough to heal. I sat with a body I was still learning to love. And I did the mindset work that nobody talks about.

That phase changed everything and not just my body, but how I coach the women I work with today.

Spent the weekend in Prince George celebrating my sister’s grad 🎓 and stayed on track the entire time.

Honestly? The hardest part wasn’t the gym or the steps. It was planning my meals around a full weekend of events and eating out at restaurants where I couldn’t control what was on the menu.

But I figured it out. I prepped before I left, made smart choices eating out, kept my steps up, and got a training session in.

Kasia, I am SO proud of you 🎉🔥

This girl started her journey back in August completely on her own. She started making better nutrition choices, prioritising protein, and got herself moving. Getting started is the hardest part!

But her body hit a wall. The scale stopped moving, progress slowed down. That’s when she came to me.

We got her lifting weights three days a week, slowly brought her food UP out of a deficit, and started building her metabolism back up. And look at her NOW.👏🏼

Something I would like to point out is that she had anxiety about going to the gym. She felt uncomfortable, she was nervous but she SHOWED UP anyway. Every single time. And now? She is absolutely killing it in there. 💪🏼

Her body is changing again and the best part? We’re not even in a full cut yet. We’re building her up so that when we do cut, her body is actually ready to perform.

This is what smart training looks like. This is what patience looks like. This is what happens when you stop guessing and start working with your body instead of against it.

What 10 years of not giving up actually looks like.

Every version of me is in this journey. The girl undereating and losing her hair. The girl who finally learned to fuel her body right. The competitor. The girl who gained 50 pounds after her show and had to find the strength to stay the course.

70 pounds. 10 years. A lot of hard seasons in between.

Cutting doesn’t mean eating as little as possible. It means eating as smart as possible.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is people slashing their food down to almost nothing when they want to lose fat. And then they’re miserable, hungry, and wondering why they can’t stick to it.

The secret to a sustainable cut is volume. Eating foods that fill your plate, fill your stomach, and still keep you in a calorie deficit, without making you feel deprived.

You don’t have to give up the foods you love. You just learn to swap smarter. Same meals, lighter choices, more food on your plate.
