If you give a girl a horse,
she’ll probably ask for a saddle

Before you know it,
she’ll have a bank account full of receipts
and a heart full of memories.

If you give a girl a horse,
you’re giving her more than just a pet.

You’re giving her responsibility.
The horse still needs her,
even when she’s tired or having a bad day.

You’re giving her patience.
Horses don’t progress on her timeline.

You’re giving her humility,
because most of the time, the mistake is hers.

You’re giving her resilience.
She will fall off,
get frustrated,
and have days when nothing goes right.
But she’ll get back on.

She’ll learn that trust is earned,
hard work matters,
and success doesn’t happen overnight.

She’ll learn to care for something
that depends entirely on her.

And somewhere along the way,
she’ll realize the horse wasn’t just
something she grew up riding.

The horse was something that helped her grow up.

If you give a girl a horse,
