Before I post my final schedule of the summer, I just wanted to send a huge thank you to the parents who took time to schedule and drive their kid(s) to our sessions and to the players who worked their butts off every single session. I know that this is just the beginning of this journey and I'm excited to see where this will take me. There is nothing I love more than teaching in general, but teaching the sport I love is simply the best. I hope every player learned at least 1 thing while working with me, even if it was learning to love the game. I'm so grateful for everyone who showed interest and for those who stuck with me throughout the summer. Next Level Soccer will be back, but in the meantime it's time for me to reset, refuel, and reenergize.

‼️SCHEDULE & GENERAL UPDATE - Some changes have been made due to extreme heat and scheduled sessions. Also, I’m running my first half marathon (in Mont-Tremblant) next weekend so I will not be having any sessions August 10 and 11. Sessions will be available during the week instead.

Please note that my last day of running these sessions will be August 15th as I’m taking the end of August to re-energize, travel, and spend time with friends/family before beginning a new career adventure in September. Macy’s been joining me every week since I started Next Level Soccer and I feel so proud of the progress she’s making. She’s much more comfortable on the ball and different techniques are becoming second nature to her.

Right now, we’re focusing on using the proper passing technique and getting comfortable with the hip movement passing with the inside of our foot requires.

After 3 fantastic sessions this morning, I had to highlight this - Eméline worked hard to get her shooting technique into her muscle memory. As noted in the video, her plant foot was so far behind the ball that she wasn’t able to get her body over the ball and strike it properly with a full follow through. Once we tweaked a couple things, the difference was incredible. She was able to get used to anticipating where the ball would end up, so she could get her plant foot right, hit through the ball at the right time, AND follow through all the way. This was such a cool thing to see!! 🤩

This morning I got to work with James first, then Ainsley which was extra special because I got to teach them in the classroom this past school year and now I’m teaching them about the game we love. ⚽️

With James, we focused on being quicker on the ball and not being afraid of making mistakes. His progress is so impressive! 💪🏼👏🏼

With Ainsley, we got our shooting technique down pat and focused on the importance of our touch away from defenders to set us up for a perfect pass/shot. 💪🏼👏🏼

Thank you both so much for your hard work. I’m thrilled to be playing a small role in taking your soccer skills the next level. ⚽️🤩
