With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Phil Roberts, after a brief battle with ALS. Phil was our U18 OSFL defensive coordinator for the last five years. His leadership was instrumental in helping put our OSFL program on the map in Ontario.
Phil coached for 30+ years at the university level. We have considered ourselves fortunate that Phil decided to spend the last five years with Wildcats Football. His defenses were always tough and fundamentally sound. His commitment to the development of athletes was unmatched.
What made Phil very special was his unwavering commitment to help student athletes. He was always willing to discuss a players grades, their career, football and educational goals. Phil also mentored our younger coaches, helping build their coaching careers. Everyone loved Phil, and he will be missed❤️🐾.
