The last of the payout was sent last night at 2am!😮‍💨

What an incredible weekend. We paid out just a few dollars shy of $40,000 in prize money! 💰

On top of that, we rounded up our fundraising total to $6,700 for BOTG. While the payouts and giving away 5 saddles and 12 buckles are exciting, the impact this race has had and the people it has brought together are what matter most to us. Seeing the support from our community, competitors, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who came out has been amazing.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this race what it was. Whether you raced, volunteered, cheered from the sidelines, sponsored the event, or supported us in any way, we truly appreciate you. We’re excited to continue building this event and can’t wait to see where it goes from here.

Mark your calendars for July 2–4, 2027 as we bring the Race for Responders back for its 4th year! We already have big plans and can’t wait to share what’s next.
