me join me for a class sometime to discover the magic of salsa and immerse yourself in the vibrant beats of Cuban music! No partner necessary since we will be rotating as needed :) Drop-in anytime! I also want to remind everyone that this is a safe space where we encourage everyone to keep improving and approach mistakes from a self-growth mindset rather than fearing them! This allows us to not only become better dancers, but also keep growing as people together. Soy Victoria, aficionada de la salsa y bailarina acá en Charlottetown, PEI y doy clases de Salsa Cubana (Casino) todos los domingos en DownStreet (en el Downtown de Charlottetown)! Vengan a una clase para descubrir la magia de la salsa y dejense llevar por el ritmo contagioso de la música cubana! Doy clases para principiantes y principiantes avanzados. No se necesita pareja como vamos a estar cambiando de pareja en cuanto se necesite :) Pueden hacer drop-in cuando desean! También les quiero hacer acordar que este es un espacio seguro donde motivamos a todos de seguir mejorando y ver fallas de una perspectiva de desarrollo personal en vez de temerlas! Cuban Salsa (Casino) father-daughter dance 💃👨‍🍼
From our salsa showcase at Whisperwoodpalooza 2026 at Whisperwood Villa ✨️

We didn't just bring Latin heat and Cuban flavour to PEI with our dancing, but this number in particular brought something even more special to our performance: Family 👪🧡

My Dad is the source of it all: Originally from Peru, that's where I got all my Latin flavour from 🇵🇪❤️ Whether it was introducing me to different types of Latin music, teaching me Spanish and sharing more about his culture in a fun and loving way when I was a little girl, I felt a close connection to my Latin roots from a young age thanks to him ✨️This inspires me to this day to keep learning more about all the different cultures within Latin America, we have so many beautiful dances, types of music, delicious food and more - I can never get enough! Muchas gracias, papá 😘

Special thank you to my Dad for performing this father-daughter dance with me and thank you to for dancing with my student ! Always a privilege having a Cuban in our group and being able to showcase the beauty of Cuban dance in an authentic way ✨️

Because I care❗️It's about so much more than just putting together a fun dance number... I care about properly representing our Latin dances and cultures as someone with Latin roots living outside of Latin America, and I believe we did just that ❤️

Rueda de Casino performance 💃🇨🇺✨️

From our salsa showcase at Whisperwoodpalooza 2026 from last week at Whisperwood Villa 💃

We brought some Cuban flavour to PEI (Canada 🇨🇦) with our Rueda number to Para Bailar Casino by 🎶🇨🇺✨️ This song actually mentions both Casino (known internationally as Cuban Salsa) and Rueda de Casino (Casino is the name of the dance, Rueda is the wheel/circle format of the same dance that includes partner switching and group moves), so very fitting ⭐️

Thank you to all my students for making this such a fun experience, and of course special thank you to my Dad for participating in our Rueda 🤩

Cuban Salsa (Casino) dance to Reventaya 🔥🔥
From our salsa showcase at Whisperwoodpalooza 2026 from last Thursday at Whisperwood Villa💃✨️

We brought some Cuban flavour to PEI (Canada 🇨🇦) with this fun number to La Reventaya by and 🎶🇨🇺✨️ Hence Reve and Ntaya combined results in La Reventaya 🤯🧠
