Say yes, first and then figure it out along the way

You expand your circle: Every "yes" introduces you to new people, mentors, and unexpected communities.

You find your true edge: You will never know what you excel at—or what you actually love— Your comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.

Next time an opportunity presents itself, don't ask why. Ask "Why not?"

Sometimes sitting is hard.

I want to be up, moving, supportive, dynamic, productive. I want to keep going, get things done, and be there for everyone.

But sometimes rest isn’t a choice. It’s a necessity.

Sometimes you have to slow down, take a seat, and give your body what it needs. Not because you’re lazy. Not because you’re giving up. Because you want to keep doing the things you love for a long time.

Longevity requires listening. It requires knowing when to push and when to pause. And sometimes, taking a break now is what allows you to keep showing up tomorrow.

So, yes, I guess I need to take a seat.

And maybe that’s exactly what I need right now.

Practice, practice, practice.

Pose, pose, pose. Pic taken. 2 weeks out from show Sept 20 2026

Work out on Jell-O legs, then force yourself to hold a quad flex until you shake.Wake up to crush fasting cardio before your first client, knowing the real work is just getting started.

Building the package is only half the battle; presenting it like art is where champions are made. It’s weighing out every single ounce of rice, tracking your macros down to the gram, and pushing through the brain fog of prep. It's hitting your daily water gallon goals and pushing through grueling dropsets when your mind is screaming at you to quit.

And then there's the mental game. The side of prep nobody sees on stage. It's sending multiple daily text messages to your coach, overanalyzing your check-ins and second-guessing everything. “Did I do something wrong? Did I fail at something? Are my glutes coming in? Is it normal to feel this way?” The prep brain is real, and the insecurities hit hard when you are depleted. But that's why you have a coach—to remind you to put the phone down, look past the fatigue, and trust the vision. "I am the plan." Because after the mental breakdown comes the breakthrough. You stand in front of the mirror, entirely fatigued and flat, and you pose anyway. You spend 15 minutes transitions-focused, squeezing every muscle fiber, hiding your exhaustion, and locking eyes with your reflection to perfect that stage smile.
It doesn’t matter how much muscle you build if you don't know how to show it off, and it doesn't matter how hard the prep gets if you don't find the mental toughness to stick to the plan.

Leave no room for error.

The stage doesn't reward excuses. It rewards relentless consistency—mind, body, and soul.

Drop a 💪 if you are trusting the process today!

Ever feel like you wanted to belong? To be a part of a group?

Sports enthusiasts always have a built-in community. But what if you don’t play sports? Where do you go to meet people? Where can you just hang out and have intelligent conversations… without having to drink alcohol or stay out super late?
I know I am incredibly lucky—in my line of business, I’ve met so many amazing people who have become true friends. But I know how rare that can be.

Let’s be honest: making friends as an adult is hard. Everyone is completely maxed out with work, families, children, and daily responsibilities. But we aren't just yearning for casual plans—we are yearning for true community.

I have a deep passion for connecting people, and I truly believe Chateauguay would benefit so much from more of this. Community isn’t just found; it is built by the people who are willing to go first.

I would really love for our town to get on board with creating more spaces for connection!

Work hard on the things that come easy to turn your natural talents into unstoppable strengths.

We often hear that we need to grind away at our weaknesses.
Fix the flaws. Master the hard stuff.

They are your superpowers. When you pour intense work, discipline, and obsession into what already comes naturally, you don't just stay good. You become world-class.
Stop fighting your nature. Perfect your edge.

You do not have to live a copy-paste life.Wisdom is recognizing that your path is entirely your own. It’s completely normal to look at someone else’s life and think, “That is not for me.” But here is the part people don't talk about enough: When you start choosing your own path, your circle changes.Pursuing your personal goals will introduce you to your true tribe—the people who see your vision and run alongside you. At the same time, it means you might lose people who are no longer in alignment with where you're headed. When you start dreaming bigger and pushing past your comfort zone, you might suddenly seem "too much" for those who prefer you small.Don't apologize for outgrowing a space.I’m sharing this because I’ve been living it. Lately, I feel like I’m really truly coming into my true sense of who I am and where I want to be. Choosing myself has led me to an incredible new circle of friends and a brand new fitness home.Finding Ace Athletiks has changed everything for me. It’s a place where you genuinely feel at home and appreciated. It is world-class, but it still feels like home. I honestly cannot wait to introduce more people to this space and watch it grow into our ultimate community base and fitness hub.Keep pushing past your comfort boundaries, focus on what you want, and live authentically. Surround yourself with the people and spaces that elevate you. When you look back, you will be so damn proud of yourself for having the courage to stand your ground.

"Is it healthy?"

Lately, a lot of my clients have been asking me about my current diet for this bodybuilding prep. I want to address this directly:

No, it isn't "healthy" in the traditional sense, and I never claimed it was.

There is a massive difference between lifestyle fitness (eating for longevity, energy, and balanced health) and elite bodybuilding prep (pushing the human body to extreme levels of leanness for a single day on stage).

I don't expect everyone to understand or agree with my choice, but I do ask that you respect it as a personal, extreme athletic goal.

For those who are curious about what is actually happening to the body during this final stretch, here is a look at the actual science of extreme caloric deficits:
* Metabolic Adaptation: When you force the body into a severe energy deficit, it doesn't just blindly drop fat. It actively fights back to survive. Your metabolism downregulates, your body temperature drops, and subconscious movement (like fidgeting or pacing) slows down to preserve every single calorie.
* Hormonal Shift: Ghrelin (the hunger hormone) spikes massively, sending constant signals to the brain to look for food. Meanwhile, leptin (the fullness hormone) bottoms out, meaning true satiety disappears entirely.
* The Psychological Battle: Extended, extreme deficits alter brain chemistry. The brain begins to hyper-fixate on food—you dream about it, watch videos of it, and your focus narrows.

This phase of prep is an aggressive, calculated science experiment. It is done under strict timelines, with severe boundaries, and with a precise plan to reverse out of it safely the second the show is over.

To my clients: My job as your coach is to build you a sustainable, healthy lifestyle that gives you energy and vitality. What I am doing to my own body right now is an extreme sport. I love the challenge, I love testing my limits, and I’m fully aware of the trade-offs.

But truth be told? My biggest challenge is still to come.

For me, staying lean, staying in a deficit, and overtraining has always been the easy part. The real battle starts after the stage. My next goal is to build serious muscle, and to do that, I have to force myself to eat in a caloric surplus and intentionally maintain a higher body fat percentage. Stepping outside of my comfort zone—both physically and mentally—is going to be a massive hurdle for me. But just like this prep, I am incredibly excited to push my capacity, face my mental barriers head-on, and grow.

Let's keep crushing your health goals, while I finish checking this extreme one off my bucket list. 👊💥

Your DNA is the blueprint, but your daily choices write the story.

For a long time, I looked at my family’s past and felt like my future was already written for me. It is heavy to carry the fear that you are destined to repeat the same struggles, face the same illnesses, or fall into the same painful patterns as the generations before you.
But then I realized something life-changing: most of what runs in families also gets practiced in them.
We don't just inherit DNA. We inherit kitchen table habits. We inherit ways of dealing with stress. We inherit unspoken rules about food, communication, and emotional coping.
If you are carrying a heavy generational burden today, please hear this: you are not trapped by your roots. Your family history isn’t a crystal ball showing your future; it’s an early warning system giving you a head start.
You love your family, but you can still choose a different path. You can practice peace where there was chaos. You can practice healing where there was pain. You can choose nourishment where there was neglect.
The cycle stops with you. You are the one rewriting the story.
