Welcome to the first annual Hitmen tournament presented by Rozon Enterprise. This year's venue will be held in Casselman at 215 rue Laurier. In the men's divisio will be slo-pitch while in the mixed division we will be using 3 pitch. Please contact us for entry availability and fees.

Men's Slo-Pitch Rules

1. NSA bats and U Trip bats (thumbprint) are allowed.
2. No new inning after the 70 minute mark. Game slots are 1 and a 1/2 hours.
3. A team must field a minimum of 9 players and a maximum of 10.
4. Entry fee and roster must be handed in on Saturday after a team has played it's second game.
5. Be ready on start time, hustle on and off the field. NO warmups before the game, there is room beside the field to do so. This is to avoid tardiness as it is a fixed schedule.
6. 5 run limit per half inning, last inning unlimited. If the home team is winning in the bottom of the last inning, the game is over.
7. Coin toss will be used to determine home/away team in all Round Robin games unless otherwise agreed upon between captains. Playoffs: higher ranked team will be ruled home team in the playoffs. 1) win-loss record. 2) +/-. 3)”Actual” runs against. 4)”Actual” runs for. 5) head-to-head (if applicable). 6) coin toss.

9. Home run rule: +1. After the home runs are used, any untouched ball that leaves play in fair territory is an automatic out. Walk off rule for home runs (includes 4 based award and batter does not have to touch 1st base).
10. Slo-pitch: arc must be between 6 and 12 feet. The pitching zone is between 50-60 feet. A board will be used for the strike zone. Any batted ball that hits the board is a strike and is immediately a dead ball.”Time” will be called by the umpire.
11. Batting order: SET ORDER
12. Any ejection that takes a team below (9 players in men's) is an automatic forfeit, 7-0 loss regardless of the score. Ejected player will be suspended 1 game, we would like to keep it a fun environment.
13. Cannot walk to get auto out to end the game.
14. No bunting allowed by ANYONE.
15. Anticipation step is allowed as the ball crosses the plate, on a swing or bounces in front of the plate.
16. Foul balls caught by the catcher are an out regardless of the height.
17. 3 curtesy runners per game. Teams can use the same runner more than once.
18. Final scores will have a max +/- of 7 in the standings,
19. There are time limits for all games with the exception of the finals.
20. Mercy rule is 15 after the 4th inning and 10 after the 5th or 6th innings.
21. Round Robin games can end in a tie. However, in the playoffs the tie rule is as follows: The batter at the time of the last out will start on second base with one out. All extra innings are unlimited runs.
22. Both score sheets must be handed-in in case of any discrepancies.
23. There is zero tolerance for tailgaiting, any team caught tailgaiting will be disqualified from the tournament with no refund. NO WARNINGS.
24. Flight restricted balls must be used at all times (Worth Hot Dot .52 Core will be supplied). YOU MUST RETRIEVE YOUR OWN HOME RUN BALLS!
25. To qualify for the finals, a player must have played in at least one game of the round robin.
