Equipment is arriving! We can’t wait to elevate our programming thanks to Skate Canada - Saskatchewan!💚⛸️

Thanks to funding from Skate Canada - Saskatchewan, our skaters now have access to enhanced on-ice and off-ice training.

We introduced the on-ice harness this season, and now have an entire portable gym for skating specific off-ice programming, including off-ice spin trainers, portable full-body mirrors, and barre/pilates conditioning equipment.

Our goal is to improve physical literacy & balance, enhance technical development, support choreography & expression, increase fitness & injury prevention, develop mental strength, and advance on-ice skill acquisition, all while maintaining our club’s #1 goal — keep skating accessible to everyone.

Over 20 of our skaters are directly benefiting from this initiative, and it contributes to a broader community benefit including athlete retention, increasing engagement, regional collaboration, and strengthening the overall quality of our programming.

The Canora Skating Club extends our deepest thanks to Skate Saskatchewan for this incredible opportunity. We are looking forward to sharing our continued progress with you all! ⛸️💚

Thursday 7AM club! 😎

Thank you to my skaters and their families for *rising* to the occasion to train with me bright and early week after week.

This was our last practice before show time. I am so excited to see these skaters perform with their own artistic flare & tricks they’ve added to their competitive solos.
