This song holds such a special place in my heart. We poured a whole lot into it, and I will always be grateful that I went to Nashville and wrote it with a lovely guy named David Norris, it made the Top 80 on Music Row and opened the door for me to live out a dream I had for so long: getting out on the road as a touring musician.

My daughter was just under two years old when we filmed this video. Today, she is officially heading into Grade 10. Lord help me. 😂

I blinked and somehow the little girl in this video turned into this big, beautiful kid with a whole high school life of her own.

Time really does fly when you are busy living, learning, singing, raising a family, and trying to soak up all the good parts along the way.

Feeling thankful for this song, the memories wrapped up in it, the people who believed in me, and every little dream that got me here living in the woods writing my songs. 🤍

Can we be real for a second? 😆

I live in the woods, I don’t care much for editing, and I barely look at myself in the mirror before I hit record... so y’all get what you get.

Here’s a little teaser of my new song Where the Rivers Meet.

I wrote this one for Mattawa, for the people around here who make it special, and for everyone planning on attending Voyageur Days this July. ❤️ Thanks to Mattawa Voyageur Days for the invitation.

I’ll be there on Country Night with Owen Riegling, Steven Lee Olsen, and the Chris Buck Band, and I can’t wait.

First it was the birds outshining me, now it’s the wind trying to take me out. Jeff Black, I hope you enjoy my fancy guitar skills. This is also exactly why I should always let you or Tony do the guitar work.

My brother Matt recorded this cover in our parents’ backyard… and honestly, all I can see are the eyelashes my friend Terrie did. 😆

I’ve barely worn makeup in 10 years, but I think lashes might be the thing that brings me back. 🥹🤣😍

I was outshined by the birds earlier this week and it immediately reminded me of this old front porch cover of Brandy Clark's Get High.

Apparently I've been getting upstaged by birds for years. 🐦😂

Out for a walk in the woods with Buddy today, working away on a new song for the upcoming Mattawa Voyageur Days Festival in July. 🎶

Feels pretty special to be invited to open Country Night in the place I now get to call home.

Tried to work on a little teaser for you all out in the woods… but honestly, the birds were putting on quite the show and completely upstaged me. 😂🐦
