This item is inspired by one of Sri Lanka’s most well-known traditions — tea plucking. Sri Lanka is famous around the world for its beautiful tea plantations and the hardworking tea pluckers who carefully gather the tender tea leaves from the hills.

This dance reflects the daily rhythm, dedication, and graceful movements of the tea pluckers as they work among the lush green estates. Through expressive steps and lively music, the dancers bring to life the spirit and culture of the Sri Lankan tea plantations.
