ENDING THE SEASON ON A HIGH NOTE! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ”ฅ

What a way to close out the tournament! The boys delivered a complete, dominant performance in our final game, cruising to a 7-wicket victory against the Calgary Yodhas!

Our bowling unit set the tone early, ripping through the opposition to bowl them out for 92 in 17.4 overs. The batsmen then stepped up and made light work of the chase, knocking off the runs in just 12.3 overs to seal a fantastic win!

It wasn't our day out there against the Seton Giants. After setting 118, the opposition managed to chase it down to take the win by 7 wickets.

Cricket always throws ups and downs at you, but the boys are keeping their heads held high. We take the lessons, put in the work, and come back stronger in the next one! ๐Ÿ‘Š

After a string of agonizingly close games, the boys came out with something to prove and delivered an absolute masterclass on the field!

Winning the toss and choosing to bat first set the tone right away. The boys put on a clinical display to post a huge total, and our bowling attack backed it up by shutting down the Shaheen Warriors for 71 to seal a massive 114-run victory! ๐Ÿ’ฅ

A low-scoring defense that went right down to the wire! โšก๐Ÿ“‰

Closing out our overdue match updates with a look back at a tactical, low-scoring match against the Calgary Chargers Titans. Defending a small target was always going to be an uphill battle, but our bowling unit turned it into an absolute scrap, pushing the Chargers into the 20th over before they could seal it. The heart shown by the boys was unmatched.

Our feed is running a little behind, but we have to give credit where it's due. In our Weeknight League Division 2 matchup against a strong Rockies XI squad, we faced a steep uphill climb but fought right until the final over. Though the result didn't swing our way, the Strikers showed real character on the field.

After a tough loss last week, the boys bounced back in style with a convincing win over Panthers Smashers to record our second victory of the season.

It was a challenging evening with strong winds throughout the match, but our bowlers kept things under control. A big shoutout to Ovindu, Subash, and Buddhika for consistently applying pressure and never letting the opposition settle.

When it came time to chase, Supun had other plans. His blistering start put the game firmly in our hands, shifted the momentum early, and earned him a well-deserved Best Performer of the Match award.

We came up against table-toppers JCC and fell just short in a tight contest. The boys battled all the way to the final ball, but a few moments went against us.

Special congratulations to Buddhika Amal on an outstanding all-round performance in his second match of hard-ball career. Opening the bowling alongside our pace spearhead Yapa Janasinghe, he struck twice early and put JCC under pressure from the start. He then backed it up with a valuable 24 runs during the chase.

Unfortunately, a crucial run-out at a key stage changed the momentum of the game, and on another day the result could easily have gone our way.
