Start by doing what’s necessary today; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.~ St.Francis of Assisi

We are living in odd times and this can make us feel a little swayed. What I’ve learned over the past year is that no matter how difficult things get there’s always a way to get through the challenge. It may require doing what seems impossible, but taking time off to breathe, be in nature, write in a journal, go for a walk...anything to disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with a feeling of peace that eases the soul, that quiets the mind can be helpful.

Good morning to you all!
I know it's been a while since my last post, I've been crazy busy managing my other business, I have so much to do to accomplish the vision, THE DREAM.
A good friend of mine called a few weeks ago, she reminded me to never let go of my passion. I've spent years learning to become a personal & executive coach and equine experiential facilitator. I love seeing people make beautiful, positive changes. With both businesses I serve people, in different ways, but again it's what I love.
Now, as we face challenging times, it can break us or make us, for most parts we can choose. As we continue through this storm, let’s remain emotionally and physically strong and connect with our creativity and inner force. Maybe we will surprise ourselves with new ideas or rekindle dreams that once burned so passionately.

Never “just a horse”.
Through the wisdom of the horse we can learn to let go of a past that wasn’t our destiny, open our hearts to trust once again, and set new goals to recreate a life that may be different from what we had imagined but in the long run so much better.
And, remember that you are not alone because it’s never « just a horse », it’s a best friend, a teacher, a healer.

So here it is, I’ve heard people say that I have a perfect life. Actually, even though I am a coach, life is happening and I do go through difficult times without having answers to the why’s. I do believe these moments make us stronger and, by remaining in our truth, we can turn fear and darkness into strength and light. Having the courage to show up every day is what matters, turning the difficulties into opportunities and knowing that we are never alone. This past Saturday I met with a dear friend and colleague for an equine coaching session to obtain insight as I am presently walking through a very shadowed valley. My friend and her horses gave me space to began healing and accepting my vulnerability. Honestly, we cannot have it all together every moment in life , that’s just not reality, but we do have the power to make choices that are better for us rather than pulling the covers over our head and pretending all is okay when in fact, our world has been shattered to pieces. Each day presents the opportunity to step into my power, accept what I cannot change and know that God has a wonderful plan in His time.

Horses will always lead you to your truth. Many years ago I decided that I wanted to share the healing power of being in the presence of horses with my clients. I became a FEEL Facilitator during my own journey of healing, discovery and revelation; the horses truly were the light in my shadow. They reveal things that need change but, amidst the storm, we may not see.
If the horses or a coaching experience is calling you, we are in beautiful Sutton, Quebec. We will love being of service to you. No experience is required as we only do groundwork.

I have been journaling for as long as I can remember, the best times being in a field with horses. These beautiful creatures always lead me back to my heart’s wisdom and the present moment. Years ago, I would find myself living in the past or the future; completely disconnected from the « now ». This often brought on anxiety which blocked my creativity and joy...writing in my journal, I discovered all the wrong beliefs and mindsets I had; this helped me to become clear on what was and wasn’t working in my life. It also opened doors to greater possibilities.
I hope you may find the time to put pen to paper and let your words flow. Be free, be truthful and be ready to listen to your heart, you may be pleasantly surprised by what comes up!

I mentioned fear in my post yesterday because I was with my coach when she prompted me to go beyond my self-limiting beliefs while riding. She mentioned the fear of death...this really resonated with me as I thought of so much potential being buried only to become dust. We have been given unlimited power when we came into this world but many voices from others became the tunes playing over and over making our dreams seem distant and unattainable. How do we change this? Every day, choose a winning mindset. Every time a negative thought comes up switch to a positive thought. It takes 5 positive thoughts to crush a negative one, so be mindful of what you are thinking, saying and doing. Live fully; rekindle the things you may have let die. Be intentional and use words of bliss to inspire and expand your vision.

Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway ~ J. Wayne

Don’t let fear stop you from living your dreams. Whenever you feel fear, ask yourself where it’s coming from, whether from a past experience or not knowing what the future holds, stop, breathe in deeply and know that this emotion shall pass. Live in the present moment, have faith that God has a plan and know that He will never fail you. So, saddle up because there’s going to be challenges, but we have the ability to choose courage over fear.

Horses live many emotions in a day but they always go back to grazing, bringing their stress levels down to return to homeostasis. We can learn so much from horses such as self care, how we receive information, and mostly how to return to a place of calm in order to manage stress, it is a must, especially in this fast paced world to prevent illness and be in harmony.
So for today, take a few seconds to breathe in deeply, maybe close your eyes if this feels good and just BE. Mini pauses will help you be more in tune with yourself and your needs.
I am inviting you to embark on a journey of wellness and stress management to be a healthy YOU, in body, mind and spirit.
