Alberta Smallbore Rifle Association (ASRA)

The mission of the Alberta Smallbore Rifle Association (ASRA) is to foster and perpetuate the growth of air rifle and smallbore match and sport rifle target shooting sports in the province of Alberta. Furthermore, ASRA aims to encourage the young people of Alberta to participate in the shooting sport. Objectives of The Alberta Smallbore Rifle Association (ASRA) are: 1: The promotion of .22 smallbore match rifle, sport rifle & air rifle target shooting in Alberta; 2: The development of target shooting athletes, coaches & officials in Alberta; 3: The organization of annual provincial match rifle, air rifle & sport rifle championship competitions; 4: The organization of provincial teams to represent AB at The Canada Winter Games & National Championships; and 5: The organization of coaches within AB gaming zones to promote the sport of smallbore target shooting across the province.
