People see a $50K quote and assume it’s the boat. It’s not.

That number is a captain who’s sailed that stretch of water for years, a chef cooking to your group’s actual taste, and a boat sized correctly for the people on it — not whoever happens to be aboard because the smaller boat was already booked.

After your first BVI charter, the question I get most is “where next?” My answer is almost always the Exumas.

Every season we compare hundreds of crewed yachts while building charter proposals for clients, and a handful always rise to the top. These are the five I’d start with for 2026 and 2027 — mostly catamarans, because the Exumas are shallow, and a catamaran opens up anchorages a deeper-draft yacht simply can’t reach.
