{A Brief History}
Like many studios in the Vancouver, BC area, we are founded by industry veterans, rising from the depths of a dark basement to achieve renowned global success and live "The Dream"! Also, it makes us sound very old so... let's move on!

{Leadership}
Hellbent boss man, Christopher Mair, was a key founding partner at Barking Dog Studios/ Rockstar Vancouver, and would easily win a co

ntest titled "The Nicest Guy You'll Ever Meet". He really doesn't like to be called "boss man", "boss" or even "Christopher" for that matter. As Hellbent's CEO and Creative Director, he can often be found running vast distances, cheating in board games, organizing the Hellbent Hockey Team, or riding a scooter indoors.

{Projects}
Since 2006, Hellbent has cultivated a close relationship with LEGO/TT Games-- creators of amazing games like LEGO Star Wars, LEGO City, and LEGO Marvel Superheroes! Our LEGO titles include LEGO Battles, LEGO Battles Ninjago, LEGO Friends and LEGO Ninjago Nindroids! We feel so lucky to be a part of LEGO's extended family, but we are an independent studio that collaborates with other industry partners, and releases in-house games too!

{Work Life}
Hellbent Games operates from secret headquarters in beautiful Burnaby, BC. We are currently home to over 45 talented artists, programmers, designers-- and the occasional visiting husky dog. Work/Life balance is important to our team, many who have spouses and children and hobbies and bucket lists and the aforementioned husky (not all together, because that would be insane!). We work hard to meet our milestones but enjoy a flexible schedule -- as well as some fun perks like weekly pilates class, a games room with pool table, family gatherings, and plenty of opportunities to play and discuss videogames.
