Meet Keira!!💙💪
Keira joined us in July as a Membership Sales Representative. If you haven’t had a chance to meet her yet, here’s a little more about Keira and what she loves about working at The Fitness Firm:
💙What inspired you to work in the gym environment, and what keeps you loving it?
I’ve always been active! I’ve been dancing since I was three and later fell in love with lifting, running, and group fitness. After graduating from Western University with a BA in Kinesiology, I discovered my passion for sports management while also working at two fitness studios in London. What I love most about the fitness industry is the community. Gyms are welcoming, motivating, and inspiring spaces, and I’m excited to contribute to that positive environment every day.
💙What is your favourite way to train in the gym, and what’s a big fitness goal you’re personally working toward right now?
My favourite ways to train are functional strength training, running, and hot Pilates. I recently completed my first half marathon, and my next big goal is completing a solo HYROX in December. One day, I’d also love to take on a full marathon!
💙What has been your favourite part about working at the Firm?
My favourite part about working at The Fitness Firm has been the people. Both the members and staff are so welcoming and genuinely passionate about the gym and its community. My first few months have been amazing, and I’m excited for everything still to come!
This is me on graduation day at Western University! I graduated with my BA in Kinesiology 💜🐎
I competed in HYROX women’s doubles last October in Toronto with one of my best friends! I am very excited (& a little nervous) to do my first solo HYROX in Vancouver this December 🤸♀️
Outside of the gym, one of my hobbies is definitely going to concerts! This year so far I have already been to 10 concerts. One of my favourite genres is EDM⚡️
During the summer’s, I love cottaging being outdoors with my friends🙌
This is a picture from my last solo I competed🩰. I did competitive dance from age 10 all the way until my last year of university!
