We’re not meant to do this alone. Connection isn’t a “nice to have” - it’s essential for our nervous systems, our wellness, and our ability to thrive. Yet many of us find ourselves isolated, disconnected, or surrounded by surface-level relationships that leave us feeling alone.

This workshop explores why belonging matters, what gets in the way of true connection, and practical strategies to cultivate relationships that actually sustain you.

In this workshop, you’ll:

-Identify where you’re disconnected and what’s keeping you there

- Discover practical ways to build meaningful relationships in different areas of life, and in places that might surprise you

- Practice leaning into connection and community, without forcing vulnerability

- Leave with a connection plan tailored to your capacity and needs right now.

When: June 11th, 10am EST

Length: 1 hour and 15 min

Format: Zoom - Recording stops for authentic and secure live discussion near the end

Cost: Free

Most of us have been taught — directly or indirectly — to make ourselves smaller. To not cause a scene. To hope for the best.

This workshop is about something different.

Underestimated is a two-hour, trauma-informed self-defence workshop built for women who want to feel safer, walk taller, and trust themselves more — in every area of life. No experience required. No particular fitness level required. Just a willingness to show up.

In two hours together, you’ll:

➡️ Build situational awareness skills you’ll carry with you everywhere

➡️ Learn to recognize and trust your own instincts — and understand why they’re worth listening to
Practise real physical techniques for survival situations — what actually works, and what doesn’t

➡️ Leave with something you can’t unknow: the knowledge that you are more capable than you’ve been led to believe

Our approach is trauma-informed and consent-based at every step. Your well-being is not an afterthought here — it’s the foundation.

When we stop underestimating what we’re capable of, and embody the knowledge that we can fight our way to survival if necessary, we’re able to walk taller and stronger in every area of life.

Meet Simon. Our miniature philosopher.

He’s our smallest herd member, but he’s making a big impact.

Simon helps us remember who we are underneath all the doing.

There’s something about his complete, unapologetic presence that has a way of quietly dismantling our armour. No performance. No pretending. Just honest, unhurried being.

He reminds us that rest isn’t a reward we earn at the end of a hard day. It’s a need. A real, legitimate, deeply human need — one that most of us have been overriding for a very long time.

Simon doesn’t override anything. And in his own small, magnificent way, he gives us permission to stop doing that too.

What part of yourself have you been overriding lately?

🐴 Drop a ❤️ if Simon just made your day a little better.

Horses taught me to pause.

After twenty years of working with thousands of horses, the most important thing they’ve shown me isn’t about movement or training. It’s about stillness. About what becomes possible when a nervous system finally gets to exhale.

Horses pause constantly. They regulate together. They don’t push through exhaustion or override discomfort. They stop, they breathe, they let the safety of the moment actually land.

We used to know how to do that.

Most of us have spent so long in high-demand environments — running on adrenaline, staying ahead of the next thing — that stillness started to feel unsafe. Unfamiliar. Even irresponsible.

But pausing isn’t weakness. It’s how we return to ourselves.

It’s how we process what we’ve been carrying. How we hear what our body has been quietly trying to tell us. How we build the kind of inner steadiness that actually sustains us — not the kind that just gets us through.

This land. These horses. These sounds.

They’re not just beautiful. They’re a reminder that your nervous system was built for this. That somewhere underneath the noise, you still know how to be here.

What could change if you gave yourself permission to pause?
