BBA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

📍 King Edward Arena Community Centre

A number of Board positions are up for election this year, and we’d love to welcome some new faces!

Being part of the BBA Board is a great way to:
- Have a voice in the future of Brighton Baseball
- Give back to our community
- Help shape the programs and experiences we offer
- Make a real difference

There are several positions available, and you can also join the Board as a Member at Large if you’d like to get involved without taking on a specific position.

We look forward to welcoming new members and continuing to build a strong Brighton Baseball Association together!

DID YOU KNOW?

Your child doesn’t have to play House League in Brighton to play Brighton House League Select!

As long as they are playing House League in a QBL centre, they can try out for Brighton’s Select team. That includes centres such as Quinte West, Warkworth, Colborne, and more!

So if your player is looking for a little more baseball this season, come out and try out for Brighton Select!

11U - you can register for tryouts - dates TBD for fall
9U, 13U and 15U please indicate if you are interested if coaches are available.

Select Coaches Call

Due to player interest in other age groups (9U, 13U, and 15U), BBA has decided to reopen the call out for coaches for the 2027 House League Select Season until October 1, 2026.

You can email [email protected] and request an application form.

Also, if you have a player who is interested in playing select at any of those age divisions, please make sure you fill out the interest form below. 11U can follow the same link to register for fall tryouts (dates TBD).

SELECT BASEBALL

Are you interested in trying out for the Brighton Bandits 11U Select Team for the 2027 season? This opportunity is for players born in 2016 and 2017.

How House League Select Works:
Players must participate on both a house league team and on the Select team. The house league team can be any team in the QBL.

📅 Tryouts: Mid to late September- confirmed dates to follow
There is a $25 fee per athlete

🔗 Registration: You can register using the link below


*The 11U Select team will participate in the EOSBA loop again and attend tournaments throughout the season. Families should be prepared for a weekend commitment as games and tournaments will take place on weekends.

We are also collecting interest for other age groups for the 2027 season. At this time, however, we do not have coaches in place for the other age groups. If you are interested in coaching 9U, 13U or 15U, please reach out to BBA at [email protected].

2027 SELECT BASEBALL UPDATE

Brighton Baseball is excited to announce that the 11U age group will be running a Select team for the 2027 season with returning coach, Zach Eastman.

At this time, no other age groups have a coach confirmed.

If you are interested in coaching a Select team for another age group in 2027, please reach out to us at [email protected].

11U Select Tryouts will be happening this fall!
