Attention softball fans, If you are looking for something to do tomorrow…look no further!

Tomorrow we are hosting at Rom Knott for a double header at 11:00am & 1:00pm. SVEE were the Women’s Provincial Champions in ‘24 and Bronze medalists in ‘25. If you want to come down to Rom Knott tomorrow and enjoy some good food, good weather and great ball…you will not be disappointed!

Now that we are passed the 1/2 way point in our season, it’s time for a little reflection!

The start of our SoftballBC season has been a busy one for us, especially being the only 17A team on the island. With all of our competitors situated on the mainland, it means quite a bit of travel for us. Leaving school and work early, ferries, hotels…it can be a lot. In the last 6 weeks we’ve travelled to 5 away tournaments and 1 team bonding trip to Hornby Island…but we wouldn’t want it any other way!

Even though we have a small travel break, our schedule is still quite full. Practices, exhibition games and 1 local tournament will keep us moving forward before our next trip off the island, and out of Canada, in mid June. All of this a part of the larger goal of making it to National’s, so let’s keep this train moving forward ladies!

Well, unfortunately our weekend has ended earlier than we had hoped. Overall we were 3-3 on the weekend but we were right there in each of our losses. Time to go home, get to work and regroup for the next challenge.
