โ€œHello, my name is Nikki Melligan. I am a Certified Personal Trainer (2002), Inside Flow Yoga Teacher (2024) & a Level 2 Restorative Yoga Teacher (2025). My passion as a Personal Trainer is working with clients to help nurture their belief in themselves and that they can do anything that they put their minds to no matter how big or small๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป. โฃ

After being an athlete for two decades and an avid Crossfitter for five years, my belief was that rest was unproductive and that I was being lazy by not doing anything. My days would be filled with more things than I had hours in the day for and I wouldnโ€™t stop until 5 minutes before bedtime. I would then struggle to fall asleep at night as my body didnโ€™t know what rest was or how to down regulate my nervous system. I would then wake up in the morning exhausted and start all over again. โฃ
โฃ
In 2020 I found Yoga/Meditation and everything in my life changed for me. I finally was able to have a wonderful nights sleep and my body finally experienced deep rest in a way that I never knew was possible๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ. โฃ

With the knowledge and experience I embody from the fitness world and the Restorative Yoga world, I am now able to look at these two modalities with a more balanced approach. The common theme with both of these modalities is they create mental resiliency to face the daily challenges of the human experience.โฃ

Our hips play a role in nearly every movement we make.

They generate power, provide stability, and serve as the connection point between our torso and lower body.

When hip mobility or function is limited, it can directly impact the way we move, perform, and feel day to day.

Thatโ€™s why itโ€™s important to move the hips through their full range of motion- including rotation, flexion, and extension to support optimal movement and overall function.
