To the U18 A teams in Blackfalds this weekend: Are you guys even human? I spent some time at the Eagle Builders Centre tonight watching the games, and I’ve come to two conclusions:

1: These teams are incredibly hard-working and talented.

2: I am officially old and slow.

Seriously, the speed and skill on display this weekend is top-tier. To all the players and families visiting our town—welcome! We love having this kind of energy in our barn. Keep the hustle high, the shots hard, and the sportsmanship higher.

Good luck to everyone chasing the win! And for those of you who notice your skates aren't quite biting the ice the way they should... keep Youngs Pro Shop in mind for this fall. We’ll be opening right here in the EBC to make sure you keep looking that good.

We are thrilled to announce that Youngs Pro Shop is officially landing at the Eagles Builders Center this fall! Whether you're a beer league legend or a rising star, we’re bringing the precision sharpening, custom profiling and premium accessories you need to actually stay upright on the ice.

We’re also building a digital home over at youngsproshop.ca. It’s currently a bit like a rookie’s first day on skates—a little wobbly and very much "under construction"—but it’s coming along fast! Check it out to see the progress.
