🍁Fall is just around the corner and autumn paddling is pure magic. It’s my personal favourite time to kayak🍁

Calm water, fall colours, and those mirror-like reflections — it doesn’t get better than this.

If you’re heading out this autumn, here are a few tips to make the most of it.

Important: Chances are you will get a little wet kayaking — from getting in and out, paddle drips, and splashes. Dress in layers with quick-dry clothes, and toss a change of clothes in the car for after!

📆 Our September & October Schedule is posted below.

As summer comes to an end and we move into fall, we’ll be renting kayaks on weekends only for both Lewisporte and Bishops’s Falls. The below dates will be weather dependent.

Weekend Dates: 12pm - 4pm
Lewisporte: Sept 5, 6, 19, 20 + Oct 3, 4, 10. Last day in Lewisporte is Oct 10 as the campground closes for the season that weekend.
Bishop’s Falls: Sept 12, 13, 26, 27 + Oct 11

BONUS: If the weather is nice, we may add additional pop-up paddle days during the week. If we have any pop up paddle days after Oct 11, they will be in Bishop’s Falls only.

How to Book:
Lewisporte: Walk-ins welcome if kayaks are available, or message to reserve.
Bishop’s Falls: Reservations required. Message us to book.

Due to rain and higher wind gust forecast for later, today’s kayaking in Bishop’s Falls has been moved to Wednesday Aug 26, 12pm - 6pm.

There’s still a chance of showers for tomorrow but it’s much lower. We’ll keep watching the forecast and will update if anything changes.
