Congratulations to our U11 Softball girls on a fantastic weekend of ball!

The team battled hard in their division, finishing with two wins and two losses while showing determination and teamwork. There were plenty of great hits, exciting runs, impressive catches, and memorable moments throughout the tournament.

Beyond the scoreboard, this weekend was filled with personal growth and valuable learning experiences. The girls continued to develop skills, confidence, resilience, and sportsmanship, lessons that will benefit them not only on the field but in life for years to come.

A huge thank you to our generous sponsors: Spartan Delta, Taylor Snow Trucking, Hydrodig, Clean Cuts Fabrication, and Healthy Herds. Your support helps provide opportunities for our athletes to grow, compete, and create lasting memories throughout the season.

We would also like to give a big shout-out to Lacombe Minor Softball for hosting another great Mudbath Tournament. Thank you to all the volunteers, umpires, organizers, and community members who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the tournament a success. Events like this wouldn't be possible without your dedication and support.

There's no rest for this crew! The girls are back on the diamond tonight in Bentley at 5:30 PM as they take on Rimbey. Come on out and cheer them on as they continue to build on a great weekend of softball! 🥎💙💛

Good luck to our Bentley Minor Ball U11 Softball girls as they head to the 2026 Lacombe Mudbath Tournament this weekend!

🥎💙

This tournament is one of the biggest of the season, when at Red's Source for Sports a few weeks ago, they mentioned there would be more than 900 young athletes participating throughout the weekend—plus all of their families, coaches, and friends. What an incredible event for our local ball community!

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and team spirit these girls and coaches have shown all season. Have fun, make memories, cheer each other on, and play your hearts out.

Good luck, girls—go Bentley! 💙🥎

What a weekend for Bentley Minor Ball! ⚾️

A huge congratulations to our U13 Baseball team, who travelled to Spruce View and showed incredible determination all weekend long. After dropping their first two games, the team never quit, battled through the challenges, and finished the tournament with a strong win on a rainy Sunday morning. We are proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and positive attitude these players displayed while representing Bentley Minor Ball. Way to finish strong, U13s!

Back home, our U9 Tournament was a tremendous success. The town was buzzing all weekend as players, families, and fans filled the diamonds and cheered on some great baseball. We were also lucky to have Chester Chips on site serving up delicious food throughout the tournament, helping keep everyone happy and fueled up for a full day of ball. If you have pictures from the weekend please tag Bentley Minor Ball with the hashtag

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Town of Bentley, all of our sponsors whose generosity helps make opportunities like this possible for our players. Spartan Delta, Taylor Snow Trucking, Hydrodig, Clean Cut Fabrications, Healthy Heard’s, InPlay Oil, Go Services and The Market in Bentley. Thank you to our dedicated board members who spent countless hours planning and organizing the event, and to the parents, volunteers, and community members who stepped up throughout the weekend to help wherever needed.

We are also grateful to all of the teams, families, and neighbouring communities who joined us in Bentley. Seeing the diamonds full of players, families, and fans is what minor ball is all about. The support, teamwork, and community spirit on display all weekend made this tournament one to remember.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making it such a great weekend of baseball. ❤️⚾️

What a cool experience for Ryker Benson last night at the Sylvan Lake Gulls home opener! ⚾️

Ryker was chosen as the Sobeys Slugger and proudly represented Bentley Minor Ball while being part of all the excitement before the Gulls kicked off their 2026 season against the Okotoks Dawgs. Such a special memory and a great way to start the summer baseball season! 💙💛

Thank you to the Sylvan Lake Gulls and Sobeys for giving young athletes opportunities like this and helping create unforgettable baseball memories for our players and families. 👏⚾️

Wishing the best of luck to both of our Bentley BlueJays teams this weekend! 💙⚾

Our U9 BlueJays are hosting their Home Tournament this Saturday, May 30th right here in Bentley — we can’t wait to welcome teams and families to our community diamonds for a fun-filled day of baseball! A huge thank you to InPlay, Go Services and The Market in Bentley for their generous donations toward helping make this tournament possible. Your support means so much to our players, families, and community.

We’re also cheering on our U13 BlueJays as they head to Spruce View for their tournament weekend! Play hard, support each other, and most importantly have fun.

We are so grateful for all of our sponsors who continue to support Bentley Minor Ball and our athletes: Spartan Delta, Taylor Snow Trucking, Hydrodig, Cleancut Fabrications, and Healthy Herds. Community support like this helps create incredible experiences for our kids both on and off the field.

Highlighted here are our division league play teams, U11 Softball and U13 Baseball.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing sponsors:

• Spartan Delta
• Taylor Snow Trucking
• Clean Cut Fabrications
• Hydrodig
• Healthy Herds

Because of the support of the Town of Bentley, local businesses and community partners, we’ve already been able to host a ball clinic earlier this season and create opportunities for our young athletes to learn, grow, and build confidence both on and off the field.

We’re also looking forward to our upcoming U9 tournament, and we’d like to give a special thank you to InPlay and Go Services for their donation and support toward making the event possible.

These contributions are about so much more than baseball and softball, they help create experiences, friendships, memories, and a sense of community for our players and families. It truly takes a village, and we’re grateful to have businesses and people who continue to step up and support local youth sports.

Please help us show our appreciation by supporting these businesses whenever you can. Thank you for being part of our Bentley Minor Ball community! ❤️

We love seeing our ball community back at the diamonds, and we want to make sure the season is safe, positive, and welcoming for every child.

After a couple of early-season incidents, Bentley Minor Ball has adopted Baseball Alberta’s policies and procedures and implemented new Codes of Conduct for parents, coaches, assistant coaches, and managers. These guidelines help us protect the well-being of our players and maintain a respectful environment for everyone involved.

A few important points:

Zero tolerance for alcohol or drug use in the dugout or on the diamond.

Anyone under the influence will be asked to leave; repeated incidents may result in removal from coaching positions.

Disruptive or impaired bystanders will be calmly approached by the head coach, and RCMP may be contacted if necessary.

Our kids’ mental, emotional, and physical safety will always be our top priority.

These expectations will be shared with all families and volunteers, and beginning next season they will also be included in registration forms and coach applications to ensure everyone understands and supports these standards.

Wishing everyone a great season — and as always, please reach out anytime. The board is here to support you.
