The QPA is thrilled to announce that our two sponsored girls, Emily Taborda and Valeria Taborda, have cracked the Canada Nationwide top 20 Women’s Doubles Juniors Under 18 leaderboard and are currently listed at 13th and 16th. It is such an honor to be helping these two incredible girls follow their dreams. The QPA is so proud of you, let’s gooooooo!!!!!!

The Peterborough Pickleball Association is excited to host their first ever Super Senior Tournament on September 15 and 16.

Bonnerworth Park's new 14-court facility will play host to this fun and welcoming event designed for athletes and players aged 65 and above.
We are thrilled to be offering an event where senior athletes can feel comfortable playing with their peers in a competitive yet inclusive environment.

The QPA is thrilled once again with the Taborda girls, who won GOLD this past weekend in Maine USA at the Portland PPA Challenger!! The PPA!!!

Women’s 3.5 Open Division, Emily and Valeria Taborda opened everyone’s eyes to their enormous talent at their young age. Girls we are so proud of you! You’re an inspiration to us all. Keep reaching for the stars ✨

Drum roll please....

Our MAIN EVENT at The Belleville Open featured the Mens 4.5+ Open Division, breaking the regional record for largest Open in Hastings County. 12 dynamite and explosive teams battled it out for the GRAND PRIZE of $1000, their names now etched on the QPA Champions Cup.

COGECO cable was there to film and broadcast all the action!

Congratulations to the 2026 WINNERS Nguyen Hui and Peter Hull, on an incredible victory and championship run. Well done!
Earning the SILVER along with $300 were M.yousry Ibrahim and Nicholas Striker, and winning the BRONZE plus $200 were Coby Pearce and Nolan Smyth.

Thank you gentlemen for all the incredible memories, and we look forward to having you back for The Belleville Open 2027.

Your patience has finally paid off! It's time to reveal the WINNERS of the 2026 QPA SCHOLAR'S CUP, awarded to the winning High School Mixed Doubles team in the Quinte area.
The high school receives the QPA Scholarship of $500, to be awarded to a graduating student of high academic and athletic achievement on Graduation night.

Rayvenne Houle and Cyptin Lambert from NICHOLSON!!

In a thrilling third and deciding match that went into extra time, Rayvenne and Cyptin defeated last years champions Rachel Brady and Liam Grant 12-10 to win the Scholar's Cup and etch their names into the History books! Presenting the award were Sydney Fairman and Joshua Doxtator from Monument, one of our kind and dedicated sponsors.

Congratulations to these two terrific students, who have earned the QPA Scholarship for their High School. Special thanks to St. Teresa's and Centennial, for also making it into the final Showdown.

Our Final Mixed Division the day was the Mixed 3.0 Ages 49 And Under, and 4 teams slugged it out for top spot in the food chain! Congratulations to Cristina Cadavid and Robert Meakins on winning the GOLD, earning the SILVER were Sarah Laboun and Brendan Shultz, and winning the BRONZE were Sydney Fairman and Joshua Doxtator. Congratulations champions!!

Our third Division was the Mixed 3.5 Ages 50-64 Division, and our crowned Champions winning the GOLD were Janet Sanderson and Tim Alton, earning the SILVER were Mitch Brown and Dale Anne Courtney, and winning the BRONZE were Tanya Logan and Osbourne Noronha. Bravo champions!!

The second grouping of Champions was in the Mixed Doubles 3.0 Ages 50-59 Division. Congratulations on winning the GOLD to Stacey Daub and Egerton Boyce, earning the SILVER was the dream team of Lorraine and Tom O'Quinn, and earning the BRONZE were Sophie Tanguay and Rick Webster.
